Sure PC's have better hardware when it comes to gaming, if you're willing to spend the money. But to recreate even the basic $350 console experience on a PC (27" monitor, 5.1 surround sound, decent audio/video cards), you're in for at least $2000 and the sky's the limit from there.

That's why consoles have been so popular. You already have a couch (one would hope). You already have a decent home theater system (ditto), with big screen TV (likewise). The economics of a console make a lot more sense than spending big $$ building up a dedicated workspace for a high-end gaming PC.

Troll harder, troll.

The real name of this game should be "Crowd Funder Deluxe."

Now there's a great idea for a simulator. You have to over promise and under deliver, change the scope of what you're promising on the fly, etc. Fly around on a private jet with a pile of hookers and blow, etc.

It happens way too much here. It's the reason tailgating is illegal and the leading cause of all automobile accidents. Just look at those massive car pileups that happen all the time. If there's one thing I wish cops actually were ticketing for all the time it's tailgating. That probably more than anything else is the best reason for autonomous cars.

It's not the US. Just parts of it. Generally the South. And the Midwest. Basically all the red states, but Florida and Texas in particular. Whenever we hear about dumb shit out of the US 9/10 times it's either Florida or Texas. Hell, Family Guy already nailed it with the Everyone From Florida is Stupid song.

The only problem with using Skylines as a city planner for mass transit. Is how the citizens will wait nearly forever for a bus to arrive, and traffic unless modded, auto reset's itself after 30sec when it is stuck in traffic.

I know Swedish people are generally chilled and relaxed. I doubt they would wait longer then 20-30mins at a bus stop before calling there city planners office and yelling at them. And doubtful they teleport there cars back to there homes and try the journey again after 30sec of not moving in traffic.

Unless they just used it as a glorified 3d map maker without having to do actual work in some other design program.

Come to Toronto. One of the world's largest metropolises and the world's worst transit system. They stopped building transit 70 years ago here. And all they've been doing since is talking about it. It's in the news all the time. All the time. And yet that's as far as it ever goes. Comic Book Guy gave it the 'Worst Transit System Ever' award.

Umm, farmers don't work by the clock, they go to work when the sun comes up and quit when it goes down, no matter what time it is.

Hah! You win the internet today!

I'm all for ending the switching of clocks and sticking to one time. I like the extra hour of daylight during day light saving time, but I think we should keep standard time, where noon is the time when the sun is at its highest point and instead move "standard" business hours back one hour. One place I worked at I had worked from 7am to 3:30pm. I loved those hours because when I got off work there was plenty of daylight left to get shit done. At first I hated the shorter lunch break, but it didn't take long to get used to it and eventually grew to like it. I didn't need an hour to eat lunch and it meant getting off work half an hour earlier.

I've always hated hour lunches when I worked corporate. I'd much rather be getting out of work early. In hospitality you don't really have mandated breaks - regardless of what the law says - and just take a break when you can and go go go the rest of the time. You usually just take 5 minutes between the 6 and 8 seatings, scarf down whatever, take a leak, have a smoke, get back to it. I acutally prefer that because A) it makes the day fly by B) at least as far as restos are concerned it means you're making money and that's always good. Sitting around twiddling your thumbs in that industry is a bad thing.

You're right, we do need games based on the Spelljammer property!

Yes please. And yet if it wasn't JJ, it'd probably be even worse eh?

I guess we'll never know will we? Sure they could have been worse, but they could have been a metric shit ton better too. In all fairness to the guy most of the Trek movies have sucked nard anyway. The first one was great. Kahn and Spock were good. The rest? Bored rainy day Sunday movies at best. The TNG movies were all pretty meh too.

And I can't fault the guy for ruining Star Wars as Lucas managed that just fine himself after Empire. Still, I don't care for his work at all. No sir, I don't like it.

It's not like they lack for talent, just fresh ideas. Making a WoW clone with guns a decade after WoW was pretty dumb.

Clearly you don't understand how AI, probabilities, and random deterministic numerical forecasting work. Suffice it to say, with each piece removed it gets easier for the machine. That's why it could predict the win so far out. But go ahead and be dazzled by the "magic" of it all.
