And they could have stopped Trump, but they didn't and a lot of that is the DNC's own fault.

Nice visualization. That American Sniper movie was terrible, a blatant propaganda film for Uber Alles America.

So is every other American war film. Yet, it's not just the right-wing, the left has its agenda too and it's far more prevalent. Hell, just look at The Imitation Game there. The hands down winner out of all those films for bullshit. They didn't even try to pretend it wasn't a hardcore lefty agenda. It was painful to watch. I think that's why I always try to avoid American films that are 'based on a true story' for the most part.

So how about that Betsy DeVos confirmation? I guess the grizzly bears should be put on high alert.

I'm not tired of the winning I've had a big smile on my face since 1am November 9th last year.

The reality distortion field you people exist within simply boggles the mind. America losing = America winning to you and your ilk. Really it's like Bizarro world where you people exist.

A) How does he know where the child porn is. B) How does anyone know it's 20%. If they know the total amount than they must know where it is, right? And if that's the case why is it still there?

Ohh, and let's not forget that these 'poor' people probably have cars, cell phones, air conditioning, free education, a place to live, computers, consoles and the list goes on.

I know right! All those billions in gov't subsidies belong squarely in the pockets of those already rich suits who run those companies! Tax dollars should only ever be available to the rich because most of them don't pay any!

If neighbors are a problem follow the rule of law to win. It takes a while but it isn't difficult. Document the problem. In the case of the dog videotape a few days of its barking. City bylaws are generally quite specific about noise. File complaints with city/town get them to get bylaw enforcement officers out to fine said problem neighbor. If where you live doesn't have them and the police won't do anything keep records of that, who you spoke specifically and when. Tell the police you want file an official complaint and get a record of said complaint. Keep orderly records of everything.

After about 3 of those then you go see a lawyer about taking them to Small Claims Court. Find out what it'll cost to represent you - they may even do it pro bono but at least their fee will be covered in the judgement. First they'll fire off a 'Cease and Desist' or 'Demand' letter letting them know you intend to sue them unless they take immediate action and remove the animal. If they don't, sue. If you go into court with a lawyer, or even a paralegal, with all your evidence in hand showing that you went about things reasonably, responsibly, and professionally it's virtually guaranteed the judge will find in your favour.

Downside is he may not though it's highly unlikely. Upside is you get legal fees, plus costs, plus damages so it'll likely run them in the $10,000 to $25,000 range. That's a lot of money to give up simply not to bring a dog inside or get rid of it.

Further the judge will award you an injunction against them - and that's the important bit. What that means is that any further noise problems with them means they're in violation of a court order and subject to fines the judge sets. This usually runs on an escalating base of increase for each infraction - e.g he can start the first fine at $100 than double it for each subsequent infraction to a maximum of whatever the bylaw is - which for noise is generally around 5 grand. Best still is that if they continue to be a problem the judge can find them in contempt and jail them. The city can escalate against them all kinds of ways until they're basically broke and forced to foreclose and have to go somewhere else or rot in jail until they learn their lesson.

It's all a PITA but it's why the system is in place. If people won't behave on their own they'll be made to.

You know, it's absolutely amazing to think that no one ever thought their would be a worse president than Dubya. It's only been 3 weeks since the clown took over and almost everyone universally agrees it's like a stupid version of Damien in the White House and we're on the fast track to Armageddon. I wouldn't worry about the environment, Bob. Not when we're probably going to end up going to war in China or back in the Middle-East in a major way.

Steve Bannon: 'We're going to war in the South China Sea ... no doubt

Good night and good luck.

Yeah, I think all the viewers watching that enjoyed it immensely. I know it put a big ol' smile on my face. They really need to get rid of that scumbag.

All in all that was not the game I was expecting. And when the Cheatriots blew the extra point on their first TD? Thought it was all over but the crying at that point, so yeah it was a hell of a comeback. I'm sure the good people of Atlanta are just fucking stunned right now.

Not being bothered doesn't mean you like it, does it?

It amounts to the same thing. I've spent most of my working life in hospitality. If it bothered me I wouldn't have worked in it. And there are millions of other people who work in the industry and it's the exact same for them. Also a lot of who dine out regularly. If it bothered them they wouldn't do that either. So yes, the article is massively wrong when it makes claims like that.

Jesus, Mary, and Glavin! The scientists are even revolting!

And remember it's just a game. The important things are things like People are not wearing enough hats

And speaking of the NFL this is a mind boggling article from a couple of years back that shows just how badly the NFL screws the American taxpayer. I wonder if more people knew if they'd still love the NFL as much.... How the NFL Fleeces Taxpayers

I'm a storm torrent across a slate-gray sea
I rush in billowed reflections a fast, fast dark sky over an Edinburgh's meadow's wet
I bolt white high through snowfall cold
I am lightning in the night
I sprint like fire across a match head
And leap across lakes of dream-stuff
Over ancient walls
Past armies fast as fast is
Faster than quicksilver can fall into the sun
I, bounding, prance unstoppable to you
My all
My everything dream

That little fox is adorable.

My cynical side wonders if car safety hadn't improved, if we'd have less people driving liking complete dolts. I feel the improvement in braking alone has emboldened people to drive closer, and pull-out suddenly with the expectation they or others will be able to brake in time.

Just look at historical vehicle deaths and accidents per capita and the same amount of people have always been selfish assholes who shouldn't be driving.

You want an easy indicator? Whenever you're in a parking lot somewhere just look around at the amount of selfish pricks parked improperly or the real assholes parked up in front in the fire lanes. It's easy to park properly, or not tailgate, or use your indicators, etc. but so many don't because they're selfish and lazy. If I had my way anytime you get nailed - and those are things cops should be nailing them for all the time - you should lose your license automatically until you attend a government driving school for testing, along with the warning that any further infractions will result in massive fines, insurance costs and ultimately losing your license after strike 3. If the jerks on the road won't comply on their own they should be made to, or lose the privilege of driving altogether.
