People don't hate Mustangs. They hate Mercedes. Mercedes: The Official Car of Assholes Everywhere.

That's what I use. I've had my bodum for 20'ish years now? It's the most environmentally friendly way to do it - that I can think of.

I'm a bit torn on this. On the one hand, I'd rather people NOT text while driving and kill me, on the other hand, it sounds like yet another tool police will barely learn to use and could end up getting people serious jail time for, depending on what laws get passed based around the device.

I have zero problem with it because when I drive that's all I do. I still see far too many assholes out there on their cells. Bust the shit out of them!

No. No it's not. This isn't like a telco/cableco that have a monopoly somewhere. You don't have to sell your game on Steam.

Someone explain to me this. I have relatives living in Europe, by marriage, that seem compelled to send me articles on American politics.

They are probably trying to show you how horrified the rest of the world is at the RNC's offerings. I don't know about you but I'm certainly embarrassed by it.

Doesn't matter every other country is the same. Up here the left and right are virtually identical. Everyone on the right pulling for Trump and everyone on the left pulling for Sanders, and all the third way centrists want Hillary. And that's pretty much the entire world in a nutshell on how they feel about this and every other US prez election.

Thank you for clarifying that, gentlemen. I was going to add, how about the corps themselves for the privilege they receive of being fucking monopolies in most markets. It's now an essential service and needs to be treated as such. I didn't say everyone should get free Gfibe, just basic access for essentials at least.

Google has quietly dropped that free tier in Kansas City, its first Fiber area, and has replaced it with a 100Mbps option that costs $50 per month

Less than what I pay for half the speed. Still it would be nice if companies offered a true budget option. Internet access is essential for functioning in modern society; a low tier option for $10 or $15 so they can access email from their home, job search or have easier access to social services would seem like a pertinent thing for them to offer.

I still say internet needs to be nationalized everywhere. It should be not-for-profit with free access for low incomes.

You never sent me a bar of soap And that was during our post-prison days

Right, because it costs like $5000 dollars to mail an 8ox bar of soap to someone in spite of oil being cheap because we're *still* getting fucked at the pumps.

See Spanky, that's the shit I complain about. Maybe you just like a right good rogering by the moneymen.

And this is why you use artisan handmade soaps. Not only do they clean well, they're good for the skin, and promote skin health. Healthy skin naturally defends against bacteria. It's not rocket surgery. I make my own soap, toothpaste, household cleaners, etc. It's not difficult, it's economical, it's safe for you, it's good good for the environment. Stop buying all this poison from the massive corps that don't care about anything but the bottom line.

I love that the guy who complains about everything being too expensive is advocating buying artisan soaps.

And this is what happens when you don't pay attention, class. I've never stated anything of the sort. Merely that value is relative. And I've always, and I mean always, advocated quality over quanity. Hence the reason I'll buy one or two bottles of good wine rather than several bottles of plonk. And why wouldn't I want people to buy artisan products as I make and sell them?

When I complain about the cost of something it's because of a bullshit no-good reason. Bullshit like regional pricing. Bullshit like food costs. Even though they fell globally by 14% last year, they went up over 4% here - beef went up 13%. In spite of the fact that oil is cheap and I live in country that's a commodity based nation that has an abundance of this stuff AND is subsidized by the taxpayers to boot. Yeah, that sort of bullshit pisses me off. But if you like getting screwed out of your money that's your damage.

I can empathize with the guy. And transit should have quiet cell-free cars. However, what he did is dangerous. What is there's a emergency? If the crowds and the noise are getting to you it's time to leave the big city and go somewhere quieter.
