I have the same issue with the back tires not showing up.

While a delay of a month isn't that bad they could of given us a bit more warning. It's not like they decided yesterday that the demo wasn't going to work, they have known for a while. I almost upgraded my Graphics Card for this demo, a good thing I didn't. Now I can see what Nvida has on the horizon

I downloaded this demo and now it tells me my ATI X800 card will not work. This sucks!

Hmmm, I use an ATI card and I don't see anything in Catalyst that allows me to disable it for games automatically? I hate to manually disable it since all the icons and my desktop background will get screwed up and I will manually have to fix everything.

Well I've been playing the game off and on since friday and have a few more points to make


Negative Points

- Bug not fixed yet, yesterday, in the afternoon I lost connection to the Master Server about 5 times in 2 hours (but for about an 1 hour that night all was fine)
- Need a lot more vehicles and weapons. I hate to see what they will charge us for this upgrade.
- I don't like the hand machine guns. They sound pathetic and it seems to take like a hudred shots to kill someone, even with the "heavy" one.
- Where are the gernades???? Unlockable, Screw that!
- Unlockables suck. It just gives the expert players more advantage. If they keep unlockables then they should not allow veteran players to play with newbies
- Engineers should be able to fix the Titan ships

Positive Points

- I do like the Titan game mode and the pod launchers
- The game loads about 10 times faster for me (of course the powerplant map is not as complex most bf2 maps)
- Verify game takes only a few seconds compared too over 3 minutes for me on BF2


I like the BF2 game overall better but the load times just suck on my pc (I just can't play it anymore). I don't understand why. I've checked the forums, etc.. and no fixes. I don't have problems with any other games and BF2142 loads fast.

Demo is not bad. I like the titan game but I wish they would bring back ctf. That's all I played in BF1942. I don't understand EA.

I would like BF2 better except for the fact that it takes forever to load and to verify where as they seemed to fix the verify problem in BF2142.

As far as the large demo size and zip files what do you think those cab files are in the install. Just another Those files are compressed.

In my opinion the best RTS's out there. There have been a lot of better games than C&C but it was the first one that got me hooked and was by far the best for it's time.

TA is the best over all. Loved the big maps, array of units and the the commander. I thought there was fog of war in the game but I could be wrong since it has been a while since I have played it.

The demo for company of hero's was really good. I plan on picking this one up next.

I like BF2 but never play it anymore because of the loading issues. Takes me like 3 minutes to load a level with punkbuster enabled, and yes I checked, my drives are set up properly and using ultra DMA 5. I have run HD speed test programs and my speed is comparable to other similar drives.

I don't have this problem in other games with punkbuster, but at least it brings me back to the good old Commodore 64 days when loading a game took a while!
