If you've played the demo

I downloaded and played the demo; the game did not save my custom control settings for my gamepad. Sigh.

Well, Race Driver with a reskin...it's more along the lines of Need for Speed than a rally game.

Bus Driver: not bad. My review (from over a year ago when it was originally released):

Maybe if you didn't design a game with such extremely high system requirements, more people would buy it.

Nobody's mentioned user-made mods yet. Do they have those on the consoles? Games like Counter-Strike, TrackMania, X-Plane, rFactor, et cetera that support user made tracks, planes, changes, or total conversions would never work on a console. Console gamers get the game they paid for and are stuck with it as the developer intended. And they are $20-30 more expensive. No thanks.

Plus, I've personally reviewed 400 PC games in the past almost three years. Yep, sounds dead to me.

That means I must have missed the Mercury Day and Venus Day celebrations.

I'm waiting for Uranus Day.

You are right: that is one of the worst reviews I've ever seen. It must have taken, what, ten minutes to write it? I seriously doubt he got a review copy of it; I can't get review copies from Ubi because I'm not a "tier one" site according to Gamespot. Yeah, like anyone listens to what Gamespot says anymore.

How long ago was that? I'm supposed to get a review copy of it sometime early this week; I've done reviews of previous versions in the past.

City Life had some interesting concepts. Any alternative to EA is a good thing.

Kinda surprised they are going the free route, guess the number of players never increased.

Trackmania is huge in Europe; that's where most of the players are from. Great game.

From the features, it looks like most of the problems with the last game (which were minor and dealt with maps) are fixed. We'll see.

The community that follows this game mirrors the passion those racing simulation communities have.

A ton of people (mostly from Europe) play TrackMania United...a highly recommended game.
