I always find it hilarious when console gamers find new and exciting features that have been on PCs for years.

If they use a serial (which means the claim of having no DRM is a lie)

A key is not required for single player. A key is required for multiplayer. However, the game checks the server for updates whether you have a key or not. All of those pirates were overloading the single server with patch update requests. Now, with more servers, it has been fixed.

The PCGA has gone from meaningless figurehead to dangerous figurehead with the addition of SecuROM.

Before the patch, matches were horribly balanced and took forever to load.
My experience post-patch has been well-balance matches that have been make in a fraction of the time.
Too bad it took them a month after release to fix it. Screw you, Games for Windows certification.

I don't know if it has a place on the PC because of the number of more accurate racing simulations already available on the platform (GTR Evolution, Live for Speed, rFactor, ARCA Sim Racing, etc).

I reviewed the original game
http://jaguarusf.blogspot.com/2007/12/world-of-mixed-martial-arts-review.html
and it was pretty good. I don't know what has changed in the sequel, however.

"Traditional activation: It ties your serial key to your machine with an install count. Sucks."

Noted! I suppose if they were lazy enough to not scroll down, they would be too lazy to read an all-text review

Terribly difficult single player, enjoyable multiplayer:

Lots (400-ish) of people online if you play early afternoon Eastern time when the Russians are gaming.

The game was fun for about 5 minutes...total. Any unique ideas were not fleshed out at all: objects as grenades, arm weapons, graphics, level design, multiplayer. Way too generic. Not to mention all of the bugs that are still in the game despite a couple of patches.

I wonder how much of a gimmick the 5,000 square miles (about the size of Connecticut) of free-to-roam racing area is. Still, I am very interested in this game.
