I have a OnePlus One and love it, so I'd recommend the OnePlus 3.

Actually, they added a couple of new gameplay features that can be toggled off if you want to play "classic" mode: turrets, vehicles, crafting weapons, and buildings you can enter. It's a fairly significant update beyond just a graphical one, based off what I have played of it so far.
