It's really good.
Here's a review in video form when it was released, although they have been patching things since then, so it might be better now.
Looks a lot like Stronghold.
I'm really interested in this, but I fear for the accessibility of the interface.
As long as things like Arma 3 exist, I fear not for PC gaming.

I like both of them very much. Here is an hour of gameplay so you know what you're in for. If you've never played either, go for AirLand Battle.
