Well, it's for the best if so. Hopefully everyone takes the Nintendo Direct & Digital Revolver approach and releases online/prerec presentations for there stuff. I think NVidia is doing that since GDC is done. Think Microsoft was going to go all-in this E3, kinda feel bad for them.

If anything, at least we won't have to listen to the employees of these companies screaming, shouting and clapping like idiots from the front row every time something happens.

Article / Billy Khan tweet accidentally on purpose does not confirm the actual resolution at 60fps; furthermore will not know what sacrifices (if any) were made to hit that framerate until some website does a full comparison of all the release versions.

I hope this is built from the ground up with VR support. Loved the Dark Descent and Soma so much.

From the trailer it looks like a VR title.

I can't believe people still play D3, so many better games.

Have you tired Girm Dawn?

Grim Dawn, yep

The DH is the most fun I've ever had in any ARPG since I started playing ARPGs with the original Diablo launch in early 97. I have three other friends that also play, like me, for a couple weeks when a new season starts until the burnout happens. The game is fine, and the social aspect makes it better.

I wonder if the game will be able to sustain itself long enough for them to fix everything. Massive steam user drop since launch, as many bugs NOW than there were at launch as patches have broken key end-game systems like expeditions. No cash shop yet so no income there to support the game. That they can only put out one patch a week because of the regulations of the company that run the game servers is extremely unfortunate. Perhaps absurd.

Take all my money!

From the screenies (which looks great), looks like they're doing both RTWP and Turn Based, an option for the player which one they want? I'm fine with that.

I'm fine with the past tense narrative for those conversation options; I suspect some people won't be given the setting and that it's DnD.

Managing my expectations this time; I do not think it will blow anyone away at release. Like most (if not every) ARPG over the last couple decades, I am sure it'll take a year or two (or more) of post-release support before the game realizes its potential. Diablo 2, for example, was meh till V1.08, and then the very much revered V1.10 several years after release. Diablo 3 was trash till Reaper of Souls and the post-expansion support. IMO anyway, I think it's a pretty good game now.

I've put in about 35hrs, rebuilding the city and "Spinning to Win / BE" build before it gets nerfed ; it has had its very painful moments with the bugs, completely broken nodes and confusing "just about everything else". I do think there is a somewhat solid foundation here, but it needs a lot of work and time in every single aspect of the game.

I think DOS and DOS2 both had early access, I've heard they were alright...
We'll see, staying cautiously optimistic.

Spent some money, been fortunate to spend a couple years at the 1440p, High or Greater settings, 144fps. Where possible anyway, for example Red Dead 2 PC wasn't happening because garbage port that hardware can't fix. Definitely don't hit 144 in all titles. I'm fine with a constant, no microskip, 60fps though.

Whether this particular story is true or not, Kathleen Kennedy is cancer; one disaster after another under her rule. Give Favreau and Filoni the reins and move along.

Can't NOT wait to see how awful Indiana Jones 5 is going to be.
