Been playing TF2 for hundreds of hours and hundreds of more hours to come. Whiners can take it or leave it. To me it's the best thing since Tribes 1 and QWTF.

Actually, there's much speculation that "sandwiches" are the 2nd unlock, replacement for the shotgun, in which the heavy can regain some amount of health, but loses his backup weapon.

I've never really understood how this is such a major issue for people. A crack will be available almost immediately...crack it and get over it.

Actually, they changed their TOS, so you should be fine until you download it one more time. That's the exact same way I noticed as well. The BF2 booster pack is all I have (and now ever will) purchase from their store. The next time you go in to download the booster pack you will have 6 months from that date until you can no longer download it.

Fuck the EA Store. You can only download the products you've purchased for 6 months, and after that you're SOL. I'm glad Valve doesn't pull bullshit like that with Steam.

A Town2 remake exists, but it isn't named the same and the author made no attempt to make it apparent he was using someone elses work. I can't remember the exact name of the map right now though.

Nice catch. Actually, they changed the initial wording. I found a copy of the original post that was on www.teamfortress.com and it had said "maps." My guess is that the new game type involves something similar to Territory Control (ex. tc_hydro) where it's one map but has several different...hrmmm...well...arenas. Kind of lame and misleading if you ask me. They likely changed the wording because they were reading all of the posts from the salivating fans.

I blame it on their marketing campaign. I had heard about it through gamings news sites, but none of my friends knew anything of it. I still plan on picking it up at some point, but it came out at a bad time when I had other games (see GTA4) I was more interested in purchasing.

Yeah, well, Batman's point is that you and the author you're defending are wrong. You don't have to press a button (triangle) to get onto a curb. Unlike previous GTA games the player will automatically climb some surfaces. Any surfaces he doesn't automatically climb are ones you would not want to accidently go over anyway (i.e. bridge railings).

I've actually seen cars with 0 totals and high win per entry ratios that cost more than the cars if you buy them new, but yes many of them are cars you wouldn't actually purchase anyway (many totals, poor win per entry ratios), and the cost savings isn't that much to make it worthwhile.

I thought of that, too, but then I realized it wouldn't work. Someone would just scan copies of the manual into PDF and post them online.
