I'm still looking forward to PoEt2 with great anticipation, and I'll hopefully be playing it relatively bug free on release day.

ROFL ... keep dreaming

I'm also looking forward to it but just like PoE1 and Tyranny I will be waiting for the fully patched complete version. I quite liked PoE in spite of its issues but I was soooo glad I waited for the finished game with the White Marches 1 + 2 included for a seamless grand adventure.

It just wouldn't have been the same positive experience at an earlier point in time.
I have seen so many comments from gamers who said that PoE release version and final version + DLC were a night & day difference (and I partially experienced it myself, too, because I played some PoE beta which was shitty as hell).

You'd have to be extremely impatient or a masochist to play an Obshittian game at release but to each their own... I won't be touching it with a 10ft pole until the GOTY sells for $20.

The problem was, Obsidian got a LOT of complaints on their forums from people who found the 6 person PoEt party too hard to control. X|

Um, the only reason it was "hard to control" is because the amateur hacks at Obshittian could not hack their collective dumb asses out of a soaking wet paper bag if their fucking lives depended on it.

The pathfinding was abysmal and absolutely outrageous on higher difficulties when you had to rely on every character to actually work as intended.
Instead of doing what they should, they got stuck on each other though, tripped over each other or ran in circles in a spot like they had a mental disorder.

Personally I like the reduction to 5 characters. Aside from being easier to handle it also forces you to choose more wisely. Six characters is way too n00b friendly. Any full retard n00blet moron can build a very well balanced party when you have six slots.

The less party members, the more important your choices. And an odd number like 5 is great, too, because you can't just n00b it up with 2 tanks, 2 dps, 2 healers but you will have to choose. Choice is good. Me gusta mucho. Well done for once, Obshittian!

On the serious side in my view this guy's actions in this case do not paint him as a pedophile at all. At worst a perv or a creep.

^ this

"Real" pedos -by definition- are really only into minors whose primary and secondary sexual characteristics are not fully developed yet. In plain English: The girl can't have boobs for a pedo.

This girl here was 15 years old so she certainly had (developing) boobs. This does indeed put this Cliffe guy more in the category of a perv (teen girl lover).

Her young age obviously played a major role here. Whether he really thought she was 18 seems very unlikely to me. More likely he was specifically looking for under age girls who advertise themselves as 18+ (like "hey I'm 18 OK? *wink* *wink*").
You know, like some of those teen pr0n sites that claim that all models were 18+ but who really checks on that? Good luck even tracking down and finding some anonymous Eastern European pr0n starlet for asking.

Anyway, zero sympathies for this guy. You gotta have control where you stick your dick. Simple as that. He took a risk, probably got a kick out of the whole "teeny" thing and fell flat on this face. Shit happens. Deal with it.

So having boobs makes the difference? Young enough to bleed, young enough to breed?

Have you talked to a 15 year old girl recently?

Make the difference for what and why would I need to talk to a 15 year old? What are you insinuating?

I believe I made myself clear enough that the development of sexual characteristics makes the difference for whether someone is a pedophile. That's basically the whole definition of pedophilia. Pedos immediately lose interest in "kids" (young teens) as soon as the primary and secondary sexual characteristics begin to develop.

So this rules out that Cliffe is a pedo in the "scientific" or biological sense.
He's not. He's just attracted to young girls.
And let's get real... every man with a functioning dick is attracted to girls as soon as they got boobs and typical female shapes (wide hips and some ass etc.).
The difference between (hopefully!) many of us and Cliffe is that we draw a line and are better at abiding by established societal rules.

If someone were a "pedo" if you are attracted to girls <16, well, then many countries all over the world are "pedo states" apparently, especially the entire Muslim world where it's normal for 12/13 year olds to get married and have sex.

No, man. Cliffe is a major fucking asshole for exploiting this minor (even if she "voluntarily" prostituted herself and supposedly lied about her age) but he ain't a pedo.

News Comments > Far Cry Season Pass Details
10. Re: Far Cry Season Pass Details Feb 3, 2018, 12:58 CJ_Parker

Yeah, including fucking FC3 in their season pass is like a creative declaration of bankruptcy.

I'm generally about as anti-season pass as it gets but if you gotta have a season pass then why not, you know, expand on the game it is related to? What a concept!

So they don't have more FC5-themed stories to tell in and around Montana? No ideas how to explore (add depth) to a loose story thread or an interesting character (or two) of the base game?

With the inclusion of FC3, they are really admitting here up front that they suck ass and that the season pass is one of the shittiest value propositions ever.

It also does not bode well for the quality/quantity of the three DLC packs.
The mere fact that they seem to feel like they must include something on top of those three DLCs is telling us that they know exactly that season pass owners would be pissed if they only got those three apparently very meager DLCs... which are probably already finished or why else would they throw in FC3?
They already know exactly that those three DLCs are very short and mostly crap. Count on it.

Of course. Disney made EA push 'pause' for Episode VIII. Now that the Episode VIII hype has come to an end, EA gets their free reign in fucking over consumers back again.
And to make up for the losses in revenue in December, I'm sure they'll come up with something extra-fucked.

Those sales numbers are just sad. Nine million mouthbreathers. Just goes to show that the vast majority of gamers have a spine weaker than a gummy bear's.

I've heard nothing but good reviews from people on blues concerning it... are you getting your "facts" from the reddit hate pool?

Angry Joe isn't exactly known to be a connoisseur or to have any high standards beyond "having fun" but when even AJ goes apeshit over the abysmal "quality" of the super-retarded, super-short, super-disappointing four hour campaign then there must be something VERY wrong with it.

I also don't remember (m)any people saying positive things about the game or campaign around here. If there was anyone at all besides you as the EA cheerleading fangurl no.1 , it was probably just the usual idiots who needed to justify their $60 preorder somehow and tell themselves it wasn't too bad while they were in reality fully well aware that it was all bull-fucking-shit and complete garbage.

Why the fuck don't they hire people and rebuild their own MS Game Studios? That would seem like a much better long term strategy than an acquisition.

Oh right. They're as usual not interested in the long term. They just wanna buy a gig, rush out a couple lame, broken, shitty "blockbusters" and then shut the shit down again...

I'm also speechless that Spencer, that totally incompetent asshole, got promoted. That alone speaks volumes about Microshit's utter inability to take their gaming division into any sort of direction.

The Shitbox was born in 2001. Ever since then, MS has tried and tried and tried and tried (and failed and failed and failed...) to consolize the PC and to force PC gamers over to console. When the fucking fuck will they finally give the fuck up and grow a fucking brain??? Are they completely fucktarded?? (rhetorical question).

13. Re: CIG Responds to Crytek Jan 28, 2018, 17:48 CJ_Parker

Dacron is completely right. No one here or any lawyer on the net has seen ALL of the paperwork and the contracts but only glimpses of the GLA and these cute back and forth exchanges. There could be several binders full of extra materials that cover the licensing provisions.

There is absolutely no way to properly assess the legal situation w/o having access to every-fucking-thing.
Only the parties involved have access to all the details and at least Crytek are probably keeping some cards (whether they are aces will remain to be seen) up their sleeves.

You know, Germans (yeah, I know, the Yerlis are of Turkish origin but they are at least "socially" German) are usually pretty conservative. They would not sue -especially not a company in the US where the lawsuit is likely to take years, purely due to the international nature of it- if there would not be a pretty good chance to get something out of it.

I guess we will simply have to wait & see. Without any knowledge of all of the contracts and provisions, the odds should be regarded as 50/50.

It would not exactly have been a huge loss if this piece of cartoony looking garbage would never have seen the light of day. I mean, who gives a deep-diving fuck?!

It's not being developed deliberately slowly. What people overlook is that due to the nature of crowdfunding CIG didn't have any established studios - there were only five employees when it went to Kickstarter. It took years to build up multiple studios around the world and to take on the hundreds of developers they now have.

Bullshit. They were boasting as early as 2013 that they had 200 - 300 people (including 3rd parties like Turbulent obviously) working on the game. It did not take "years".
CIG Austin and LA ramped up very quickly in early 2013 with Foundry 42 following later in the same year and also launching like a rocket in terms of headcount.

Completely irregardless of any of that, they released a Squadron 42 trailer at CitizenCon in 2015, i.e. when they were already long since in FULL production, that had a big fat "2016" at the end.

Squadron 42 not making it even in 2018, while a new 2017 feature for the PU like the land rush is getting priority treatment for an early release this year, is all you need to know about CIG's priorities and their project management "skills" (LOL).
How can anyone with even a tiny tad fraction of project management abilities be off by 2+ years? Impossible unless you are either totally incompetent or intentionally defrauding your audience or both...

So, stop making bullshit excuses for them that did not fly three years ago and still have not grown any wings. The management of this project is a complete clusterfuck driven by marketing instead of an actual production and development (= delivery) plan.

If they would have ever focused on Squadron 42, we'd have long since finished playing it. Fuck, they've been talking about "reworking" the Bengal carrier literally since 2012.
They are definitely delaying shit fully on purpose and putting a focus on monetization (e.g. new ship sales, land rush, fancy tech demos for event reveals to extract more monies from fools etc.) instead of actual delivery.
