Thanks HoSpanky appreciate the tips...
Guess, I'll get around to trying it one day, but as an uninformed gamer it just seems like everything you described has/could been done with a keyboard. In a sense, we have full z axis way back with Decent and my/most mouse movements are/can be extremely sensitive. I'm not saying it would be exactly the same, but with the skilled developers in the world, it just seems probable it could be done. Hell, I bet there are people working on hacks. Even though I've never even looked into it, but maybe it doesn't really matter if the developer doesn't care enough to bother.

Yesterday's wars were livestreamed. There were many live broadcasts of action during the Vietnam War. Many people witnessed their sons being murdered on live TV.
Jesus fuck, you'd think we'd learn from those lessons. But, apparently not. Instead, we'd rather jerk off with our phones in our hands while watching some 19 year old kid for Nowhere, Kansas who doesn't know shit about life or the world gets his head blown off for our amusement and prurient excitement. Or maybe it's not his head. Maybe it's a leg, or an arm, or he gets gutshot. Will they livestream the godawful, sanity tearing screams of anguish and pain that goes along with that? Will we post little sad emojis in a comments section while it goes on?
Our culture is shit. As a nation, we're just goddamned giddy to wave Chinese manufactured American flags and blindly hero worship idiot kids whom are being shoved through a meat grinder for the benefit of a tiny fraction of our population. This is OK? This is what we really want to see and encourage?

Please don't be full of stupid AI doing nothing else but pillaging your shit (which will be 50x more frustrating with the new city tiles).
Please don't suck.
Please don't suck.

New Vive controllers are inevitable, and will likely ship with the second version of the headset.
I really hope so. Valve seems to have a bad habit of pushing something out there, and then forgetting all about it. I know HTC is the one building these, but have there been many software developments with SteamVR? Look at Rift and ATW. And now they have ASW. I know Valve would rather solve dropped frames differently, but this is one area I disagree with. I don't get much judder in the Rift. I do get it in the Vive more often. As for that "killer app", that's still to be seen. Vanishing Realms would BE that killer app if it got more than one person developing it.
They're coming. The lineup from Oculus over the next year looks really good. I'm hoping they translate over to Vive. As much as I love the Vive and Roomscale, the Rift (IMO) is simply more comfortable, and the headphone solution on the Vive is shit. If there's one thing I hate dealing with, it's the fucking ear pieces on my Vive.
So yeah, I hope gen 2 solves these problems. And I hope Oculus version of Roomscale and touch blow things out of the water.

How's the Deadliest Warrior DLC? Worth a buck? Reviews are mixed on Steam.

Well that's a shame. Seeing as how I don't own any of the DLC and the special edition comes with all three, I'll likely buy this once prices start to fall.

I know this isn't what he meant but I don't know why anyone buys these games before the 2 expansions and the GOTY version drop. I suppose some people just hate their money :p
I usually wait to buy a new Civ until after the first expansion. I was very satisfied with Civ 5 + Gods & Kings, that I didn't even pick up the second expansion. I'll probably do the same with this one.
