The February release date isn't true apparently.

Voodoo Extreme provided the info below.

Update #2: Diablo 3 Community Manager Micah "Bashiok" Whipple sent out a Tweet about the situation, stating "We can't really keep every individual retail shop from making up a date."

I am guessing they want to, at some point, integrate the whole battelog style functionality directly into origin so that they can bind games to that service and create a game-spanning community functionality. If they want to add it now to BF3 they probably gonna have to change both BF3 and Battlelog fundamentally...

Origin's VOIP browser plugin, Sonar is made by a different company. DICE would probably need to pay more money to integrate it into the game.

I'm aggravated by this glitch I have where the unlocks I choose aren't there when I hop in a tank. Other unlocks are present.

Wish they had skipped the campaigns and instead released a few more maps.

Patch worked fine for me. Started playing after all of the servers were updated. Did notice that the AA vehicle was a little quicker to kill infantry.

Vehicles can't be balanced versus infantry in any logical way. If you don't like playing with vehicles, play one of the maps without them.

AA time to kill versus infantry seems to be on par with infantry weapons. I one shot someone with the tank cannon, that's a pretty quick time to kill.

Why is there no squad voip? You have to form parties using battlelog to get voip at all which makes public play unbearable. BF2 had squad voip and they even went back to patch it into BC2 though I'm not sure it ever actually worked.

At least they are listening on balance issues I guess, IRNV and taclights are getting nerfed very soon. All the same, its still a frustrating experience trying to get you/buddies into the same server, on the same squad and hope that your team isn't full of players who don't have any unlocks.

All true. The servers need to have a better auto-balance sides function.

I speculate that the strategic AI is brain dead and possibly also the ship battle AI. Since these are some of the hardest things to code and often get left to the last minute.

Very much doubt the game will be fixed and made fun in a month. Looks like a 6 month job to me. I've asked for a refund. If there are no consequences for bad behavior, you'll just get more of it.

Its a 4x turn-based strategy game but the combat is 3D semi-realtime with fully realized ships. You "design" those ships with various sections, modules and weapons.

The strategic map is also 3D which you zoom in and out on to view the solar systems.

Just finished Rage a few minutes ago. Played it a Hard difficulty and felt it was too easy.

When I could snipe, of course I'm gonna snipe. That did cost me money at the store for sniper rifle ammo. If the mobs get shot in the head, they will always stick their head out a second time. Kinda ruins it. Wish they had been a little smarter. Mobs should get sniper rifles too. I did like how they would use grenades.

Don't think I'll play through it again. Tired of invisible walls.
