Not sure why you're, uh, hating on this. The mystical talking, flying anime cat? For a day or two of hackathon work to make an edutainment demo about a specified societal ill, I'm pretty impressed.

Anyone who likes mindless blockbuster action movies really has to watch this. Ain't globalization great?

And if anyone's wondering, it's apparently from the Tamil/Indian movie Robot ("Enthiran"), though dubbed into Russian.

[corrected bad info I found elsewhere]

Thanks, Blue. Ditto everyone else about dropping UGO and their seizure-inducing (and adblock-inducing) ads. I hope you can keep this working as a business.

I believe the last thing the code said to the developer before the game went gold was, "I'll be back".

sir, I salute you.

Let's just get TIE Fighter sequel with RPG elements finished, ok?

Maybe I'm stretching this too much, but I'd say that the Secret Order of the Emperor was an "RPG element." And it was the best part of the best game ever.

This has probably already been answer a million times, but did the comments software miss the memo about the new-and-not-improved daylight savings time rules?

Maybe they will work on another game like KOTOR2. And they will rush it out the door unfinished like LucasArts made Obsidian do for KOTOR2.

The funny thing about this is that adding EA to the mix might actually improve quality.

With the excpetion of some hardcore RP nuts, who the hell would want to be anything but a Jedi in a game like this?

That's why it will take 500 hours of game time to become a Jedi, or whatever number will hook people into monthly fees for as long as possible. Didn't they already do that with the last Stars Wars MMO?

MMOs are like arcade games - the game is primarily designed to encourage the user to keep putting in coins. Fun is only one part of the equation.

Some annoying ads I could put up with, but what got me into to ABP/NoScript/etc. was rapidly blinking images that I found intolerably annoying. Now my rule is "if it moves, kill it." Admittedly, there's some collateral damage.

The analogies are from the Washington Post's Style Invitational (a weekly humor contest) from several years ago.
