I'm not sure this is news or not, but Amazon and EBgames are listing a February 23 release date. Less than a month before gold and they haven't gone into beta yet?

The way the DoW2 troops are arrayed, it looks like they are working to improve the 'cover' mechanic. Gotta love additional strategic considerations.

While I have nothing against the man, and wished no ill will against him, i have to say I am VERY HAPPY that his work will no longer plague the silver screen.
I agree completely with this opinion. I don't hate the man; I hate the people that hired him over and over to do the same thing every time. And I don't much like the sheep that find value in this type of marketing.

LotRO Achievements |

Achievements in LotRO, called Deeds, seem to be of the same types as these. They reward you with either a displayable title for your character, such as "Goblin-Cleaver" for x number kills, or a Trait, such as "Fortitude", which provides a small buff to your attributes. Equipment is not provided for these accomplishments. It's just a means to (slightly) differentiate yourself.

'Spaghetti with tuna sauce' reminds me of how my college roommate used to make lasagna.
Lasagna: Prepare one box macaroni and cheese. Mix in one can of tuna fish. Enjoy! ? |

Throw them [the beans] in the ground. They might grow up into a cloud kingdom with mounds of hard drives. |

A very interesting idea. I wish them luck. It appears that play is only allowed from within the EU at the moment.

R.I.P Warhammer Online... Regardless, the EA purchase had already lowered my expections. It's not likely that layoffs by EA's crack management team will help, but sometimes 'trimming the fat' isn't a bad thing.

Re: Blade Runner |

1992 DIRECTOR'S CUT The Director's Cut omits Deckard's voiceover narration and removes the "happy ending" finale. It adds the famously-controversial "unicorn" sequence, a vision that Deckard has which suggests that he, too, may be a replicant.
Sorry all, I was confused which version was which. The Director's cut was definitely superior. So, I guess we can assume that the "Final Cut" will go the way of the previous director's cut release.
I've also been looking for a new game and almost bought Supreme Commander, but I found too many mixed reviews and RTS is feeling stale for me. (I just finished Company of Heroes single-player and have played the hell out of WH40K Dawn of War.)
Civ4 is a better game than GalCiv2 if you are new to the 4x genre. It's more accessible and has a better help system. GalCiv is just such a better game though; each session has a different feel and progresses unpredictably. With that said, I did just get the Civ4 expansion. We'll see if that freshens things up.

Blade Runner |

The new Blade Runner edition sounds cool, but the question is what ending are they going to use? Personally, I preferred the theatrical cut to the director's cut ending.
GalCiv2 is a great game, vastly superior to Civ4. I am looking forward to trying out the new Civ4 expansion -- it sounds like they improved some of the shortcomings.

Well, It is a safe bet that your poopies stunk really bad before, something is just different now and now you are smelling it.
It sounds like you are saying thay maybe my poops didn't change, but perhaps my sense of smell or awareness of my poops changed. I guess it is possible, but I just don't remember it being this consistently nasty.
Sorry for the poop talk. Here's a link to Sarah Silverman's "Poop Song": http://ccinsider.comedycentral.com/cc_insider/2007/06/kanye_west_sing.html
Seriously I'm not really obsessed with BMs. |

I was having an acid reflux problem and started taking Prolosec OTC daily about six months ago. It has helped a lot.
But I think the Prilosec has had a side-effect. Since this are the internets tube, I'll share -- My dumps always stink terribly now. Has anyone else experience this effect? (besides from eating the BlueChili)

Well, I went out for ribs on Saturday and what I got was tough and completely without flavor.
Sometimes when you want something done right, you've got to do it yourself.
I tried going to the local Tony Roma's Ribs. There was a sign on the door that they were under foreclosure. Not sure if the chain is in trouble or just this particular franchise. I've never eaten there so I can't comment to their quality.

First baby born from egg matured in lab and frozen
The way I read the headline is that a human was reared in a labatory to post-pubescense and then frozen. Perhaps a solution to overpopulation?
