Fion, if you think the first two Halos were garbage and the third will be even worse, why do you then care what Microsoft does with it?

So you think watching vhs is the same as watching a dvd on a home theatre system?

Movie ticket sales are down, because people are watching dvds at home.

q[Gaming as we know it will turn into the movie industry. Boring, washed out, reruns and people will get tired of it.]
Huh? The reason they keep making sequels, prequels and remakes is that they sell very well. I wish people were tired of the movie industry, maybe then we would get less crap movies.

I really want to know how Derek Smart can afford to continue making these crap games one after another. Who is byuing these games? Who is financing his projects? He's like the Uwe Boll of gaming industry.

So you already bought full priced Stalker and you don't want to make that mistake again, is that what you're saying?

Cheese, your comment makes no sense. How does excellent fan support to a game lead to it failing?

I've been cautiously looking forward to this for a while now. Looks like it might be a fun shooter and the the fact that you get to shoot robots is a nice change from aliens and nazis.

I really don't understand the purpose of pre-rendered cgi trailers for video games. It doesn't tell you anything about the game. Personally, I always fast-forward until there's some gameplay footage.

Well, that sucked. Remember back when Rebellion was a pretty cool developer for a brief moment after AvP came out. Rogue Trooper did get some ok reviews though.

I'm one of the few people who actually liked Boiling Point and all I really want from White Gold is that it'll hopefully be a bug free version of Boiling Point.

I think it was the PC Gamer podcast where they mentioned before Prey came out that it had sold enough in preorders to warrant a sequel, so this isn't that surprising.

I guess Postal 2 wasn't that bad if you ignored the awful graphics, bad sound design, bad weapons, humor aimed at fifth graders etc.

This is one of the games I'm most looking forward to right now. Missing or In Memoriam as it was called here was awesome.

No it wasn't done. Troika gave an unfinished release candidate to Activision and Activision decided that they didn't want to spent money on more beta testing so they just waited for a month until HL2 came out and released the unfinished game.

I'll try this demo as soon as it finishes downloading, but has anyone tried Air Conflicts? The demo came out ages ago and the full game has been released, but I haven't found a single review online.

For a second there I thought they had released a demo for The Ship. I'd love to try it, but I'm not ready to put my money on a blind buy.
