Just shat up a perfectly good line is what you did.
1. It's not WB or even associated with the movie license they operate
2. Anyone that ever felt compelled to pay for anything in SoW2 has to have been really bad at the game
Awww. Someones upset that pointing out shitty actions, by shitty corporations, engaging in shitty behaviors, and having a negative impact on gaming as a whole musta really hurt.
Think of it this way on your point 2. If they thought that people wouldn't pay for it, they wouldn't have included the option in the first place. In other words, they made a calculated decision that the number of people being PO'd by that action(s), and the resulting loss of sales would be outweighed by the people paying it.
Ever try to not communicate like a child?
The lootbox/microtransaction stuff in a singleplayer game was clearly shit, and it was also clearly either sabotaged by the developers or massively toned down to the point of not needing to exist at all. I don't know how much money WB made off their little in-game market, but the game at no point even hinted either explicitly or through its difficulty that anyone should ever care for it, and there was never a single item in there that you couldn't get through playing the game normally at a leisurely pace. There wasn't even all that feared "they'll make you have to grind!" crap given the game was piss-easy.
WB fucked up and they walked it back fairly fast, but anyone that thought the MT stuff was an actual problem with the game is just clueless.
And in any case, you're still going on about a completely separate developer and publisher working on a completely separate license.
