UUHH...Batcountry....Counter Strike or HL fanboy? Seems to be the only people who support Steam.
Steam blows dead bear. If this is the only way to get this game then I don't want it. It's invasive, doesn't let me load and play my game that I bought at a store unless it activates and decrypts the files first. Etc, Etc, No thanks. I'll spend my money on another game that works without all the BS like AOE3, SSam2, B&W2, Oblivion, COD2, Quake4, XMen Legends 2, and on and on.

The day I went to the store and spent $50 on a game only to find out once I got it home that I had to not only get it authenticated but the files had to go through an unlocking process was the last day I'll buy anything from Valve.
Also the thought of if Valve went out of business and HL2 couldn't be installed was a HUGE KICK IN THE NUTS to pc gamers, digitally delivered by Gabe Newel. Now lets talk about Steam wanting to be in your face everytime you boot up or start a game......BAH!! Fanboys will never listen....
