I guess you’ve never owned a Jeep. As an example, why is it that the the Jeep Wrangler has one of the highest resell values of any car???

Yep. That dude is obviously just taking one example of a bad car (which ALL brands will have from time to time) and blowing it up out of proportion. I've seen morons do that so many times it becomes pretty obvious now.

Not surprising seeing his comment history. There are some on this site that really make me wonder...

Don't worry about it, moron, JD Power's 2017 reliability rating safely trumps your anecdotal presumption.

Dodge, Jeep and Fiat are 4th worst, 2nd worst and worst, respectively. Since it's all the same company (FCA), I'm going to go with them being pretty damn unreliable.

But keep wondering there, champ.

It’s been documented time and time again that these “independent reliability” companies (ie. Consumer reports, etc) are bias. It also has also been documented that they “interview” specific groups to get the outcome they are looking for. Same goes for politics.

Show me a comparable vehicle to the Jeep Wrangler, that has the same capabilities, gets abused off road, and keeps going! There is a reason the Wrangler, in some form, has been around since the 1940s.

Drive your “reliable” Toyota or Honda through the rough mountains of Wyoming, Utah, Colorado year after year and the true reliability numbers will surface! I could go on and on!!

Once you own a Jeep, then come back to me with facts! Until then keep you inaccurate opinions to yourself.

If you don't like the game or the way they handle DLC, leave!

Guess what, from 150K players playing multiplayer at release the game now draws less than 15K. Guess people are indeed leaving.

And where do you get these facts? PC? 360? PS3? This fact just wreaks of BS. Besides, 15K or 10 million, as long as you join a full match, it makes no difference.

From MaydaX, admin of PBBans.

Here, linky, linky, and for a real time view of the player's count, look at this post.

The 150K and 15K numbers were about the PC side only. And don't make me go again to that cesspool of a forum.

40K players for 6/6/2010.......hmmmm...seems like the game is gaining popularity based on your 15K statement!! Also, Battletracker shows an average of about 40K for the past month. Also one of your links reference Steam stats.....which won't include direct purchases. BFBC2 isn't dying......

Lets look at your so called fact: 2.5 million sales (all versions -fact stated by EA). 150K would mean that only 6% of all BFBC2 gamers ever play online (based on your stat during the games online prime - assuming for all systems). Doubt it. If you want to post facts and have people believe your statements, reference a source for yours facts...something that you should have learned in high school!

You guys bitch if it is free, you bitch if maps costs money, you bitch if all the maps are available on day one and nothing new for several months. If you don't like the game or the way they handle DLC, leave! Yeah, the maps are already bundled on disk, but this is a marking campaign to keep the game feeling "new". Content that is constantly released keeps the game fresh.

MMORPGHarbingerOfDeath, you are so right about the sequel (SH2)! Maps were unbalanced, game was buggy as hell and MP was an after thought. The developers were always stating that a huge patch was in development and that it would resolve most of the issues. Well, that never happended and it seemed like they just gave up. Same devloper, same published, not good news from that stand point. I will give the demo a try, but I will not buy the game until (if) decent reviews are released.

Putting aside the whole $ for weapon idea, have they improved the game at all? I tried it 3 or 4 months ago and it was laggy as hell and the lobby had already been hacked with automated chat lobby spam...among other things.

This is doomed to fail. As others have said, points on a server will be based on who spent the most money.

What is up with these foreign developers and their crappy games. Soldner, War Rock....games that might have had potential.

Darks. The way the developers implemented the game engine in the begining is why it isn't possible to make the move to TCP/IP gameplay. The developers know it was a mistake, but it is a done deal. Don't forget this is the developers 1st game. Give them a break. It is a budget title, and a good one if you give it a chance.

I played the beta since the private beta tests started and the game has really improved in the past 3 or 4 months. Kuudos to the developers for making the recent improvements they implemented - they were needed! I won't be buying this game because I got bored playing the beta.

It is still a MMO focused around grinding levels, and because of this, it is quite boring after the "wow" factor wears off. Play it for 3 months and you will start wondering if it is really worth the $15 a month.

Maybe as the game matures and new content gets added (I mean the free stuff - not expansion packs), it will change for the better, but until then, it is still a $15/month grind/level-up MMO game set in a Mad Max environment.

EA isn't the only publisher doing this! Look at Atari.....

And there are some posters here that will buy EA published games even after bitching and complaining. These type of actions by publishers will continue until the consumer stops buy their products.

These crappy publisher practices aren't new either!

Either stop buying or get use to it unfortunately.

DDI.....Warlord map?? Huh? Wrong expansion/add-on dude!

Euro Forces has 3 maps....Operation Smoke Screen, Great Wall and Taraba Quarry.

Check this link for details on Euro Forces:

MindTrigger. You can log into various accounts to buy Euro Forces. Using that account you buy the software via whatever means you determine is best. Then you are asking for your Gamespy ID that is used by Battlefield 2. That is where you enter the ID used when connecting to BF2. The account used to purchase the booster pack is seperate and unrelated to the ID used to "verify" that you bought Euro Forces.

MindTrigger, make sure your Gamespy account name (the one you log into BF2 with) is entered in your EA account details. If they don't match, even if you have bought it, it won't validate the booster pack at login time.

Come on guys...you bitch if there aren't enough patches and you bitch when they do release patches.

At least they are addressing the issues!!! I would rather have a ton of patches rather than buy a game and shelve it due to unplayable bugs that never get fixed.

" Lucas Arts you screwed the PC gamers with Battlefront 2 , regardless how good this game is I cant buy it becuase you riped me off with that crap you call battlefront 2. Man this game looked good to."

Different developer for this game. I believe the development company also includes some ex-westwood developers. Interesting in seeing some reviews of this game. It has potential.

As for a patch on or before release date, I don't see that as a problem. My problem is when they developer/publisher wait months to resolve gameplay issuses.

Anyone know if they fixed the artillery repair via supply drop ability issue? How the hell does a supply carton automatically repair a UAV trailer or artillery???
