Its almost the same gameplay as SC with better graphics. Not really interested. The genre has progressed so far with this type of gameplay, and yet, AFAIK, we will be playing the same gameplay model from 5 years ago. Not interested.

At least spend this time re-developing Ghost or a SC MMORPG.

This game will be HUGE in Asia, maybe thats "the rub..."

Wow, is JoWood actually supporting a 7+ month old game? Or is this the last patch before the add-on? I may actually pick it up, unless someone who has the game speaks up about this patch to let us all know if it is actually playable...

Why did you have to rape my childhood memories of a decent Shadowrun game for the Genesis and Nintendo that was true to its canon with this crapfest of an FPS. Why couldn't you call it ShadowRunner and keep my dreams alive for a game that is true to the Shadowrun name?

Is this the patch that you have to pay for to make The Guild 2 to work?

If they are going to compare the game to "real deal" subs, then do that instead of this flippant article comparing the game to a modern sub. SHeesh...

They took a great concept, coulda made something really great and needed (mmorpg based in a future time, better content than Neocron and Anarchy Online). Instead, they rape our memories with an FPS and new story arc. Good riddance!

I mean, can you emulate the horse-doping results of Babaro?

I also loved Chaos Theory, it was the first SC game I tried. It ran great on my PC. I picked up SC:Pandora Tomorrow but haven't had time to play it inbetween NWN2, Railroads! (haven't installed, waiting for some patches), Civ4 Warlords, Company of Heroes (awesome!), and Oblivion. This fall has been murder on my PC gaming binge, I am so glad that Test Drive Unlimited was delayed to Feb 07. Oh, and gotta pickup Medeval Total War 2 before Xmas.

Yes! I was hoping that some game developer would not overlook the horse racing manager genre. I see nothing but high sales in the future of this product. Why, it could be "The Sims" of the horse racing management simulations. Think of the the possibilities...

...on my PC. I have an Athlon XP 2600+, 512MB PC2100 ram, 9800SE card, turtle beach sd card, Win XP Pro.

My settings are medium, 800x600, low shadow, large texture, no AA or Bloom, and no structures seen far away. Game still looks fabulous!

The dungeon played fine, got choppy when more than 3 characters on screen. City life plays sluggishly, but tolerable. Which is very fine for a game like this. Nature life is still unknown cause I haven't ventured much outside of the city...

I will upgrade my PC for this fine game plus a few others, namely: LOMAC: Flaming Cliffs, TRAINZ 2006, and maybe Battlefield 2.

But until then, I can play this while some other games are shelved until the upgrade.

Been hearing awesome things about this game, though it hasn't been marketed in the states at all.

The first version of SR sold 100,000 copies in Russia...

The local Fry's (Las Vegas) has a couple of copies last time I checked but I didn't pick it up (dumb). Gonna make a special trip tonight...
