Nintendo admits iPhone, iPod hurting sales.

The iPhone/iPod Touch would make one hell of a portable gaming device. Of course the games are mostly substandard and the unit costs considerably more than a DSi.

I wouldn't mind playing some older RPG's on the iPhone, or even some newer ones that are exclusive to the DS, such as The World Ends with You. A great RPG if you can find it.

They don't damage, or benefit you, any less/more than the actual sun does.

And the projected hours of gameplay you're really not getting that much, especially after 4 DLCs; which could conceivably add 20 extra hours, you're still paying roughly 4/5 to roughly two-thirds the initial retail cost of the game (depending on the platform you purchased for). And like someone else said here - I've put in around 140 hours in Fallout 3 just dinking around.

Eh, it would've been a travesty not to include Dogmeat simply because he was in the first two games and so well received. He certainly wasn't that great of a follower, beyond gathering weapons for you; and even then I used him rarely. There wasn't a lock I couldn't pick and the most use I gained from Dogmeat was retrieving the Reservist's Rifle from the Drifter in Dickerson Tabernacle Chapel.

For that particular game save I couldn't knock him off that platform to save my life.

I'm not sure how First Amendment rights apply here - since the dork was playing over Sony's network.

Nice they threw some more alien weapons to warrant an actual perk. I have the scrounger perk with my current character and I'm finding more Alien Power Cells (when I do find them), but there's still not a whole hell of a lot of them to start with.

Truth. Publishers are supporting the PC a lot more now than they did a few years ago.

You were complaining last week about Microsoft strangling the PC platform with its Games for Windows campaign.

Now if only they'd make more PC-exclusives (or at least have PC be the lead SKU in multiplatform games like Dragon Age).

Fuck that...it's gotten to the point where a developer can port a game from one platform to another without much derivation in gameplay. Frankly, I'm rather glad the era of PC-exclusives is more or less passed. There's no sense or point in it anymore.
