rpoe's got his going on, that's for sure. I've only seen those official patches (autographed, too) in the Smithsonian, but you've got the real thing. Take care of that, man, that's a good piece of history right there.
Produce a good product and provide a good ROI and people will happily give you their money to use.
I'd hate to see Valve become answerable to stockholders and become yet another entity just churning out games. But damn, they've been working on HL Ep 3 forever now.
Of course, PC's let you use gamepads whenever necessary so it's all a bit of a moot point.
I don't know...the last time I tried getting my 360 wired controller to play the PC version of GTA: VC like a console control, it didn't work out so well.

Our new fascist government, a product of FDR, was spending boat loads of money to fight the commies and enjoying all sorts of leeway from the public to do so.
Oh, there was no change in government. American fascism spawned right out of the federalist system and perpetuated itself during war time. And that what rattles me most - A common enemy and high industrial output can make pretty much any and all violations of civil liberty excusable in the name of national sovereignty. In the US during wartime that kind of behavior had been easily adopted and dropped when wartime conditions ease; legally, I might add, and all without the declaration of martial law.
Single platform future would be horrible and I can't see videogames going that route.

In the beginning of Christianity? I'm afraid history disagrees as the founders of that religion most probably had a legitimate belief in their organization. Hmm, I've heard of people having compatibility issues with Windows 7, but I'm glad to say I'm not one of them. Really, the beta has been pretty stable even relative to Vista.

Meh, I've had more issues with open-source OS's than Windows. I've used a couple of distro's that worked well and consistently, and even required less though to install than any MS product. But the clunky OS's and problems that eventually pop up kept me going back to Windows. It just works. If Google can create an OS that's intuitive, stable, and open source, I'll be all over it. Until then, I'll stick with Unix and Windows.
God knows I won't use a Mac OS. Macs are running some kind of Intel chip anyway, so why not just cut out the middle man and use a real PC to begin with?

I'm so disappointed I won't be getting play this generic World War II shooter with zombies in it with an overused cover mechanic.
Given how the standard WW2 shooter is pretty much eliminating droves and droves of enemies, I'm not sure there would be much difference with the new Wolf. Throw in some cheap mysticism and play on the legends of Hiter's hunt for religious artifacts and you've got yourself a game that stands out from the usual shooter.

Companies aren't even trying to make good games these days.
They're out there - but I'll have to admit, the best I like to play tend to be remakes (old console RPGs mostly) or just booting up and emulator and playing for a couple of hours.
It's a cheap cash-in and it's designed for consoles. It will be a standard, mediocre console shooter with forgettable multiplayer.
Oh, the drama. It's coming out for the PC, too.
Too bad Zathrus doesn't pop in anymore, he'd probably have a shit-fit over that. 
But when a customer of that company, looking out for OUR best interests (i.e. PC gaming in this particular case), points out how they have negatively affected PC Gaming...

Hmm...given how much money MS has invested into developing Windows into a "viable" multimedia platform (music, movies, games), that statement is patently false. Sure, they'd love for you to buy the $60 version of GTA IV on the 360, but they wouldn't be necessarily losing money either if you bought it for the pc.

One of the lead guys who worked at FASA Interactive during Mechwarrior 4 was an expert on why Battlemechs were ridiculously implausible yet he was able to set aside that thinking to make a pretty fun game.
That's what's all it about.
They are multi-ton, bipedal walking tanks that would give off one hell of a heat signature, not to mention the questionable practicality of a 'Mech as a battle platform. But I digress, I liked walking over people in Mechwarrior 4
That Fallout 3 cosplay is pretty slick.
