It should be pretty predictable. If you use your personal account as your official government communications account, you are subject to the laws that govern public official's social media accounts. If you use separate accounts, one for official business and one for personal stuff, your personal account should not be subject to those laws. The only part that is truly unpredictable is which way the judges installed by the Mango Monkeybutt will rule, since most of them are pretty random in their cluelessness.

How much money is Fuxcon getting/cost the taxpayers for this scam again?
That's on Scott Walker, former Governor and architect of this corporate giveaway.

I don't think they would've lost in court. It doesn't seem much of an infringement to me. Just Iron Maiden's lawyers being dicks.
Iron Maiden has mobile game, which has been out for several years now. I wouldn't be so sure of a lack of infringement, were I them. The desired free publicity was probably the end goal, anyway.

Who's the chairman and what have you done with ashit pai?
The Paihole must have finally received some spam texts and is now annoyed enough about the spoofing to do something resembling his actual job.

The comparison shots of this HD pack, is not that great. You can barley, see any difference at all. Not worth the download.
Same detail, just rendered at a higher resolution. You'd get more bang for your buck by cranking the visual quality settings all the way up on the original graphics, I'm thinking.

Russian Disinformation = US company of EX NSA staff 'New Knowledge' hiring Russian PR firms to run advertising.

New Knowledge then used that activity to sell a software product they were producing to the US Government to monitor social media.

Don't fall for the new Red Scare, or the new cold war narrative.

Think it has more to do with low-information voters (or kids) watching Youtube videos and believing all of this nonsense about Antifa, Hillary, Obama, Democrats, socialism, BLM, Feminists, Seth Rich, etc. Youtube is infested with this crap. These morons believe they are the "enlightened ones" while they are led around by the nose by foreign trolls that are probably falling out of their chairs laughing, "Can you believe they bought that crap??"
There's at least one person here who has...

The FCC has "graciously" allowed telecom to charge its customers for the "privilege" of having robocalls blocked. This really isn't new, as telecom could already do this. It's just now in a rule so that Congress would have to enact a law to make telecom do it for free. Given McConnell's complete assholeness regarding anything passed by the House, that isn't going to happen until 2021, at the very earliest.

Surprised that ever worked.
It has always been a temporary reprieve from the annual price increases. The only way to be truly free of cable is to have a viable alternative. For most, that doesn't exist. Cable knows that and, with the Mango Moron's pet monkey running the FCC (into the ground), cable no longer has to worry about abused customers having any recourse to fight the abuse. It won't stay this way forever, but it will feel like forever to those so abused.

Copyright term is fucking ridiculous. Hell, I don't even believe in copyright. All work is derivative and is based on what's gone before it. People shouldn't be able to legally protect that. And if that sort of stupidity is going to be forced on us it should be limited to 5 years max. Life plus 50 years? Give me a fucking break.
While your thoughts on copyright have much merit, Cutter, I do wonder if you'd feel the same if it was an image of you being used for a commercial endeavor without your consent. On the other hand, Activision's First Amendment claims are pure nonsense and completely irrelevant.

True, but the masters of the GOP are A-OK with keeping their base ignorant and uninformed. Much easier to push their fear-based agenda that way.

That's not much of a trailer, let alone a teaser. I like the idea, but I'll need to see more before I decide if I'm getting this or not.

Well, it didn't. Come up with a better and more unique title next time, chimps. It can't be that hard...
I'm in rare total agreement with CJ on this.

They can't tell me that this consolidation shit is possible without a major level of "spying". They will at least have to access the same unprotected files in the Steam directory that people were so enraged about when EGS (after asking for consent) accessed them for friends list imports.

In this case it will be super OK for people, of course, because CD Projekt are the good guys. Just like no one has a problem to grant them access to their Steam profiles via GOG Connect.

Sure, if you take them at their word, CD Projekt might not sell any user data to share it with 3rd parties but with this kind of unified client they are definitely mining data big time for their own market research purposes.

I won't be touching that shit with a ten foot pole. Fuck all that spyware garbage from Windows 10 to Steam to GOG 2.0. Fuck it all...
Someone missed their yoga class this morning...

Russian hackers hit 2016 voter databases but election wasn't compromised, says Florida's GOP governor Ron DeSantis.
Yeah, sorry Ron, pretty sure we're going to wait for someone else's word on that.
If the voter database was comprised, then the election was compromised. Changing who can vote changes the outcome of an election. Just ask the people in Georgia, who now have a clown for governor that should be in jail for election fraud from 2016.

Looks like the latest Windows update removed/fixed an undocumented feature/bug that the AV crowd had been using for a while now, even though they all know better. Never use undocumented features without a backup plan.

A "study" of employees at one retailer for 18 months is hardly enough to base any meaningful conclusion upon. We have these where I work and I know that, for myself, it has made a tremendous difference in my physical activity level. Plus, I now get a flu shot every year, which did not happen prior to my working here beginning nearly 10 years ago.

So, "games journalist" mode confirmed.
Or, for those of us that find failing a mission an absolutely stupid reason to have to start a game over, a chance to salvage what you can and try to make up for it later in other missions while dealing with the consequences of your failure.
