I suggest you try http://guildwars.com/ as its subscription free and there is always anarchy online freebie also planetside is now testing ads ingame, maybe that will be free with ads, or maybe not Lets hope it is. There wont be much future in non rental servers, non ingame adverts and non subscription (without ads) for multiplayer games. Stand now or give in, your choice (but thats been made like DRM for us because we let it go from the get go and because consoles dominate the market).

I got mine in Game in a 3 for 20 pound offer Im not buying any addon as the base game just is buggy as hell for network play. Have you ever seen F15's waddle like a duck on the runway in ur life LOL or planes seem to bounce and float about like they are on speed.

LockOn is dead except maybe 10 to 20 people who play on the net. I just go on for Rammage RAMMING SPEED!

Its not worth buying FULL PRICE. If you can get it on budget or for a few pounds, get it.

If XPlane had multiplayer mode that would rock.

LockOn is fun, if you are an accountant who likes to look at dials and lights then go for XPlane or FlightSimulator or Falcon.

LockOn was for FUN.

Xplane 8 probably from what I hear but no multiplayer which SUCKS.

Multiple logins? You need the CD no? Forcing us to ENTER OUR DETAILS every time does not prevent multiple logins. Its just focing us to do manually what was done from settings anyway. NO BENIFIT TO THEM OR US. ESPECIALLY THEIR BANK BALANCE

I hate developers who hide behind change notes that are just so fague. This FUNCTIONAL CHANGE is not even listed in the changelog.

They actually listed this on their own crytek website as a change then they sneakly removed it because they knew people wouldnt like it. So it went in undocumented (to us). I saw them remove it from their website for up and comming patch plans. They just screwed themselves.

Until they can be HONEST, no more MONEY.

SO, what kind of PROBLEM does this forcing us to login every time fix? Enquiring minds would like to know, is it worth giving PAYING CUSTOMERS the hassle?

I for one dont like this hassle of logging in all the time, and at times I do forget my accounts thats why I use the remember option.

So what problem or cheating does this FIX?

They are trying to Screw us, they did so by INTENTIONALLY FORCING us to login EACH and EVERY TIME we go MULTIPLAYER.

Why can all other games allow us to do this yet FarCry has to be special and force us to sign in each time without remembering settings?

Sure they lost my money on the expansion. This patch has left a bitter taste in my mouth for CryTek games.

What is the multiplayer component like?

Nice horror effects but too little of them, I want more horror and less shoot em up

The use of the little girl in the game is a great idea and adds to the "OH SHIT" effect When she appeared at the ladder i really had a fright Nice move.

SlowMo is a nice well done effect.

Singleplayer while nice to have a story is rather limited in its appeal once its been done.

I hope the MultiPlayer component is not an "afterthought" add on with just CTF, DM etc..



I wasnt really that impressed with the demo, too short, not enough horror. The ending was an anticlimax. In short, not a good demo to encourage people to buy this game. At least not me anyway.

How about patches for LockOn? That game was just released premature and dumped bugs and all.

Its a fun game let down by bugs and lack of patches. Do UbiSoft even care? I spot a trend here with UbiSoft and lack of support or caring for its "CUSTOMERS".

How come I have to enter my CD-Key alot more than ONCE?

Is this a bug then? Until this is fixed playing FarCry Multiplayer for me is a pain in the arse.

I even enter my CD-Key and it says its In use, WTF, I PAID FOR THIS FRACKING GAME.

I had respect for Ubi and CryTek, now CryTek lost this. I for one shall not purchase any expansion pack for this game due to this.

As for Ubi support, you get a premium rate arm and a leg phone number. No thanks.


Region coding, nobody did anything, now they want blueray disks that self destruct and connect to the internet for validation.

Now Ubi and Crytek want you to enter your details EVERY TIme you play... People accepted this and did nothing.

Its nice to have the ability to host for a few firends without having to resort to a VPN and LAN mode. This "Rental" server syndrome is going to be big money, not only for PCs but especially consoles which we all know dominate the gaming market. I say put PC games and Console games (if available) head to head on the same servers

Anyway, back to the topic, I DONT WANT TO ENTER MY DETAILS EVERY DAMN TIME I WANT TO PLAY MULTIPLAYER, REMEMBER WHO HOLDS THE MONEY CryTek and who puts food on your plate. Stop fracking us over.

The up and comming expaions for FarCry is now NOT going to be purchased here until you fix this issue. who knows, I think you will try the same stunt on that expansion too, no?

Soon you wont be able to get dedicated servers or server hosting modes in game clients, they want you to RENT a server.

Why should I buy BnW2 when BnW1 multiplayer just didnt exist when I bought it because the servers just didnt exist and BnW1 singleplayer was just annoying, I want a game with longativity.

Anybody know how to remove this patch and revert back to 1.32?

I await patch 1.34 to fix this so called anti cheating change (as they put it). If not, this games dead in my book, time to uninstall and move on to another game.

These guys dont even do a rollup patch you have to do patch a then b then c etc, why not release one retail base -> 1.3x patch or whatever in a single download.




DO NOT INSTALL THIS PATCH if you like playing multiplayer.
