They play this up as a new map when in fact it is an already existing map.

Pathetic really.

They also haven't fixed all exploits on CP_GravelPit or indeed the holes that exist on CTF_2fort

The spy is visible, I can see the "shimmering" easily.

You can also tell a disguised one (even when their name is disguised too) by their actions and behaviours for their disguised class. Use your common sense.

Also, I want portal to have "user" generated maps that we can play / download and submit a rating on and a Coop mode for Portal.

They are feeling the heat from DICE's (for good or bad) toon FPS.

The Tribes 2 in me wants larger maps and deployable cloak (spy) jammers and more team "strategy" instead of run shoot moan complain whine gurn shoot die respawn (after a cuppa tea).

So why would you remove links to a blog that highlights the rest of the players exploits that are used and have been patched? Ignorance and bliss or just hide it and pretend they are not real and will go away?

I think it is better to educate the rest of the players how they do it so we can see it and kick them no? I guess you want us to continue to exploit bugs and keep them from public view (like being on the internet is not public?)

All one has to do is use google and enter TF2 exploit and they get the links.

MD5 checks for the binaries? Big deal, we dont hack games that way, we inject code via the Win32 hooks not to mention bugs shipped in the product, such as holes on maps, hitboxes mismatches on geometry and more.

Its the maker they select for the MS hardware that makes it suck, they skimp on quality where Logitech is far more rhobust.

"In an effort to further support this popular PC gaming configuration - Steam games plus NVIDIA hardware"

That means their focus is on pushing NV orientated products.

That is their "effort" that is their own words.

As for lost coast, its a pile of crap.

Why they are limiting products to specific hardware is stupid, they are just limiting their revenue potential. Demo or not, its not a good idea, it seems they are making more money from NV than the "user" in this case since they are bending over for NV.

How can we fake our card to report as NV on Steam? Anybody hacked this?

I see Valve just love to fcuk over AMD (ATI) users now, now we see their true colours. I have to keep this in mind for my next purchase of Valve games since I use ATI and they seem to want me to not buy their games and only want to sell them to NV owners?

If Valve want to be an NV only company then fine, they just have too much money and don't want mine. Oh well.

Portal - completed, now boring, deleted.
Episode 2 - Completed, now boring, deleted.

Do I want to buy more rooms for Portal, NO.

What about hosting user generated rooms and a rating system for the rooms for difficulty, originality submitted by the users?

TF2 - starting to get repetative and boring. Same old shit, and its the laggiest game I ever played due to the Audio bugs galore. I want larger maps too.

I tried EVE and while I liked it somewhat I felt RIPPED OFF and due to the CORRUPTION of the company that runs it and the overpricing and hard handed bans they dish out at the cry of anybody on the forum not to mention DirectX only and they do not support Open GL that I need as I am migrating from Windows to Mac OS.

We need something better. It is just me and my dislike of playing AI. I prefer to take on real people in a game.

This game would be better if it had some multiplayer online mode. As it stands, its mind numbingly boring to play lame attempts at AI.

What we need is a STANDARD protocol and format for online distribution so we the consumer do not get burned. I got burned by Valve before as have many others. While it may not have happened to you (yet) it may do. Be warned.

They will disable your account for simple resons and act in arrogance. In their eyes you have no rights. Im all for digital distribution but no on THEIR terms. I live in Europe and we are used to having rights, perhaps you living in the USA are not accustomed to that but we are. Steam will face the EU commision one day if they continue their current path just as Apple iTunes and Microsoft is facing them.

I guess competition and an open market really does work in Europe Well, once the retail channel is lost to only on-line game purchases from the publisher directly then we all lose out due to no competition. Do you really want that?
