Certinally makes spying easier Spy as a medic

I see they removed the "Report bug" menu item.

You think it was when I asked them for an achievement for playing naked (with pics)?

"can't buy their software off the store shelf and play it steam free. "

Yes you can, I order from www.play.com and then enter my key and download on Steam.

We need open and an independent digital distribution network and protocols to prevent Valve removing access for any stupid reason to customers and the products they purchased, also we need a level playing ground for ALL retailers/publishers so we also have "competitive" pricing and not just one price from one player and in case that player goes bankrupt or decides to do whatever and thereby removing access to your products you purchased via DRM or proprietary systems. Just look at Microsoft's MSN Music service. Customers are getting screwed now.

The EU needs to get involved in this just as they are getting involved in the anticompetitive nature of Apple's iTunes proprietary system. "Self regulation" is NOT the answer, this has proven time and time again to be ineffective.

I dont by from Steam becase they add tax onto the prices for me. I can get it from www.play.com tax free and cheaper. I still use steam but pay the play.com prices I have my cake and eat it.

It also helps having more than one source to pay which aids competition otherwise you as the consumer loses out.

Actually it gets my Flag WRONG. I wouldn't depend upon that for demographics.

So how did they find the servers padding? Ofcourse they know the sender of the stats. Only a complete nimpkenpoop wouldn't store that. Oh wait, we're talking Swedes here in DICE owned by EA. Yes, ninkempoops.

Why not just revert back (filter out) the scores sent by the modded servers? NO wait, that would be too easy.

Encryption, difficult?

uTorrent allows you to attempt encrypted peers and back off to unencrypted or you can only accept encrypted peers.

There is always VPN's which drives p2p underground even more and more exclusive.

I use only encrypted peers on uTorrent when I can. My ISPs do not throttle traffic at all. I got HIGH bandwidth on tap.

Perhaps it is because I am living in a socalist country that I get all these nice things

So we are DEPENDANT breast and nipple on Valve to give new features.

If they had a mod story then we could get such content from the "community.

How about it Valve? Let the community do something creative.

Is this portal "community" a bad idea?

My arguments are, it keeps focus on the product, it keeps the fun going longer, if they wanted to add commercials (plenty of wall space ) they want eyeballs and this is one way to do it.

But without the commercial revenue, its what is perfect for this genre of first person puzzle game.

Community gaming is in. Period.

What this game needs is an online community support for custom challenges and maps with a community rating system build into it.

TF2 now officially sucks without mods. Its getting boring already. The cartoon novelty is wearing off. Lack of mod ability will kill this game quick.

Where are they, and no I do not mean sound packs or "no crits" or various "configuration" changes. I mean MODIFICATIONS bringing something NEW, new weapons, new game modes, vehicles perhaps and more.

Anybody point me to where I can find these and indeed in the server browser all I can see is various "configuration" settings changes such as "no crits", "instant respawn" which is lets face it its not exactly a "mod".
