Oh dont even bother, mr nitpick. It appears your life revolves around games. Why dont you go out once in a while or read a book and expand your horizons? I know it requires you to actually excert effort to get out of that armchair in mamma's basement but seriously its worth it.

Because I want it managed on Steam along with my other managed games, saves me lugging around discs Plus it also sends crash dumps to the developer, and I get updates pretty much automatically which saves me hunting around fileplanet or FTPs.

The game is managed on STEAM, go check the Steam store.

Well I personally get more from Steam than bloat, but thanks for playing. Perhaps Steam doesnt suit you, but it suits me nicely thank you. As with anything, nobody is forcing you to use their service, so why do you complain rant and whinge about something you dont obviously use?

I always have an internet connection (free for me btw ). Without the internet a computer to me is pretty much as useful as a brick.

I never buy pre release or full price. EVER. And as for Steam, I am always sending them mails questoning their prices backing it up by cheaper prices, the more people do and the more resistance they get, the more they will have to adapt. I am currently at a stand off with Steam over Painkiller, I have the retail edition, I want to manage it on Steam, they wont activate retail editions ( as per publisher request I imagine ) so I now am challenging them and the publisher why I wont pay the full 19.99 USD for the steam managed one when I have the reatil already, I said I will pay a good will fee but not the full wack for the Steam version), 5 bucks maybe Im still waiting feedback on that one but the point is, CHALLENGE THEM. YOU ARE IN CONTROL, its YOUR money, THEY want it. They have to jump.

By that time the retards have bought the game, paid the tax, ironed out the bugs and so on

Just mail the CEO of the 1) developer and 2) publisher explaining why company X got YOUR money and WHY and to stop taking you for granted. But be constructive, when faced with arguments, be prepared to supply alternative suggestions. This keep the ball firmly in their court of the play. Its up to them.

Remember, its YOUR money, and THEY want it. Its up to them to jump through the hoops, not you jumping through their hoops.

Anyway, if only everybody never paid for a game once its released, they would stop taking you for granted. You will 1) get a message across, and 2) get it on discount.

Limited editions and box sets are a rip off. Almost as "classy" as the ring tone rip off.

Same for hardware, as soon as you stick "Gaming" on the boxart, its upped in price. Usually its more flimsey too.

Farcry engine kicks ass, the visibility and environment is great, can somebody make a Tribes2 mod for it and or Crysis?

They want this to be a FUN game not an anal retentive nitpicked game.

They want each class to be very UNIQUE, not just slightly varied.

Its great, reminds me of The Incredables movie, great job on the artwork whoever done it. It makes the game more FUN, only an anal retentive asshole that makes games his LIFE and never goes outside takes it way to seriously.

The artwork sets the mood (of FUN but ofcourse your going to get the asshats in game taking it way to seriously and kicking you for having FUN), check the videos, they rock!
