It's sad, really. Once I got the MP working, it was terribly fun to run it co-operatively (though text chat in the upper left just feels weird).
But the hell that was opening ports for it....
I ended getting hosting to work on my machine, through the router, by opening the suggested ports and turning windows firewall off. But same ports open and firewall off on another computer/router just would not work. And there's no option for the host to say "okay, spawn this player's world", so if they're behind the host in quests, they're just screwed.
Hope they fix this fast. There's obviously a huge community that WANTS it to work. They just need to not waste the numbers they have (ha, fat chance
