Whatever this game turns into, I'm looking forward. Thanks notch for keeping us innocent from the POISON which is next gen games, and fancy graphics. Yeah, I actually feel that way.

What's with companies trying to be as annoying as possible? Just release a damn game, and let us play it without your business'y asshole wiped all over it.
Take notice of all the creative name makers this "gaming industry" has. Games titles that use (dark, darkness, rising, falling, call of, Legend) Put them in a pit with swords and lions. This suing based off of name is exactly what dull people with dull jobs do, turn nothing into something.

Dear ID, PLease for the love of the gaming. NO extensive PLOT... NO CUTSCENES... Just make a cool game that is fun to play. Focused on MP, and that ole badassery of 2 teams that hate each other. Art and excessive detail need to calm down and make sure the game is fun to play first.

But a nice fresh heli full of squadies turning upsidedown is the kind of practice I was hoping for. Ya know.

Vid game companies try too hard and they look completely lame doing it. Just like that BF3 "like us a million times and we release something early" Companies assume no one has patience. And customers have encouraged their own impatient attitude by falling into all the traps. Go outside, find something else to do in the mean time.
I dont know whatchu all be 'plaining about. BF2 is great. I've 1070 hours into it over 3 years. I've seen some red bug stuff, and just adapted, I've seen a couple dozen jeeps fall from the sky every once and while.. big deal. The server restarts, or I move to a new one. Or just just enjoy it. Its not that bad. Bf2 was a great buy, and has lots of great gameplay and competitiveness to it.
This is great news, new maps.. I hope they put an oldie in there. It would be nice if they had a new game mode too.

Lots of the land in America grows grain and corn to feed animals so they can eat... so people can eat them. It's actually a very wastefull process when one considers all the resources used to produce meat on an massive scale.
