Thanks to everyone for their input to my question, I appreciate it!
I will definitely look into grabbing a trial and checking it out. |

So I haven't played WoW since before the first expansion came out. I think I got as high as level 35 and got tired of it. Does Cataclysm change the game enough (or the other expansions for that matter) that I should give it another look? Or is the same interminable series of fetch and kill quests plagued by gold seller spam? |

The most interesting bit of the VGAs are the new game announcements/trailers. I am not going to sit through two hours of complete nonsense just to see that, I can wait til the next day, thanks. I saw the best part of the VGAs in about 10 minutes this morning. The web can be a wondrous thing. |

There's nothing special about WoW beyond it's adoption by the drooling masses who don't actually play games. You win the internet. |

Tumbler wrote on Dec 7, 2010, 16:56: That is a weird trailer...not even sure what those challenges are...and you get to turn into raiden...and play Metal Gear? ....The Fuck? Basically in the game there are a set of VR type challenges (kinda like MGS). If you get the at least the bronze medal target for every challenge you unlock the Raiden outfit for Ezio. Kinda silly and anachronistic, but there you have it. The outfit is purely cosmetic and doing those VR things is totally optional. |

I thought the game was alright, I also did not have a lot of high expectations and I think that helped. The screen shots looks like some weird dual stick shooter...gross. |

Raven has always made solid games. Nothing outstanding but generally entertaining. Yep I too had a good time with Singularity. Nothing groundbreaking, but a solid shooter that was fun. |

I am one of the 20% that returned and am having an absolute blast. The F2P is implemented really well, where you get a huge amount of content for free and only really need to pay for convenience items. As a guy who plays off and on its way more content than I could ever want, it will be long time, if ever, before I need to buy an expansion. |
