Yeah, I get bored and like to mix it up every one in awhile. It's the internet for crying out loud. No once cares what's said. That's why it's fun to argue on here. Also, I said I was a christian but I didn't say I was a good christian. We don't all smell like fresh baked bread and glow like gold.

Edit: I can't type for crap today. My halo keeps slipping and blocking my view.

That is my point. Zathrus said there were no laws in science. He is clearly wrong. How is that just using semantics to prove a point? If he, or you want to argue a point you should use the correct terminology and not get bent out of shape when you don't and I prove you wrong.

There are no laws in science?
Boyle's Law (pressure and volume of ideal gas)
Charles & Gay-Lussac (gases expand equally with the same change of temperature)
Ideal Gas Law [PV=nRT]
Dulong-Petit law (specific heat capacity at constant volume)

Einstein

Energy of photons
Special Relativity
Constancy of the speed of light
Lorentz transformations

Mass-energy equivalence
E = mc2 (Energy = mass × speed of light2)
General Relativity
Energy-momentum (including mass via E=mc2) curves spacetime.
This is described by the Einstein field equations.
Laws of Kepler (planetary motion)
Beer-Lambert (light absorption)
Newton

Newton's laws of motion (inertia, F = ma, action and reaction)
Law of heat conduction
General law of gravitation (universal gravitation force)

Coulomb's law

Ohm's Law
V = IR
Kirchhoff's circuit laws (current and voltage laws)
Kirchhoff's law of thermal radiation
Maxwell's equations (electric and magnetic fields):
Name Partial Differential form
Gauss's law :

Gauss's law for magnetism:
Faraday's law of induction:
Ampere's law + Maxwell's extension:

Navier-Stokes equations of fluid dynamics

Poiseuille's law (voluminal laminar stationary flow of incompressible uniform viscous liquid through a cylindrical tube with the constant circular cross-section)

Radiation laws

Planck's law of black body radiation (spectral density in a radiation of a black-body)
Wien's law (wavelength of the peak of the emission of a black body) :λ0T = kw
Stefan-Boltzmann law (total radiation from a black body)

Thermodynamics

Onsager reciprocal relations - sometimes called the Fourth Law of Thermodynamics
; and
.
Buys-Ballot's law (wind travels counterclockwise around low pressure systems in the Northern Hemisphere)

What does this prove, oh yeah, Cabron's Law: Zathrus doesn't know as much as he likes to think he does.

Tango, thanks. Let me say this, I am a christian, yet I have no doubt that evolution took place. However, that doesn't stop me from believeing that evolution was guided by God. I don't see why intelligent design and evolution have to be seperate ideas. Also, I don't agree with teaching any religous beliefs in public schools. If I want my child to learn religion at school there are plenty of private schools I can send him. However, my main point is that all people of faith are lumped together into some close minded, neocon, idiot group. Just because you (and I don't mean you personally Tango) don't have faith, don't insult those of us who do.

Nice, resort to the insults yet again. I hope that you don't have any children, and if you do, you don't resort to insulting them when you want to make a point.

Hmm...well I can say that without a doubt every single one of you has prayed to a God at some time. I find it depressing that you guys go out of your way to put down people that have faith and a belief in a higher power, yet without a doubt, I know that you all will call on God (maybe not the christian one, but a god) when times get tough. There's an old saying "There are no atheists in a foxhole."

What I find interesting is all the people here that get all up in arms about how Christians are close minded and don't want to even consider that someone else may be correct. Perhaps you guys should go back and read your own posts. Pot. Kettle. Black. 'Nuff said.

Creston, I hate to tell you, but you are crazy when you say "Just let them walk into the endzone". Apparently you've never been a coach. If you tell your D, "Well, just let them score real fast so we get the ball back." what you are really saying is "Hey, I don't believe in you guys, and you don't stand a chance." Great motivational skills there. Oh, and I hate to tell you this, but the Pats suck this year. They just barely beat Atlanta without Vick. What a joke.

Question for those of you who purchased B&W2. Is it good? I was thinking of picking it up, but I thought I would get some first hand reviews first. Any help is appreciated.

Well, being from Indiana I can tell you that people from Ohio can't drive worth a damn. Although, they say the same about us, so you know how it is.

I wrote pong. No...I developed binary computing so someone could write pong....no wait I developed 1's and 0's so someone could develop binary, so someone could write pong....no wait....that's all I got.

Oh, ok. That makes it easier to understand. I knew what you meant about the amount not being much, but as we pay our water bill every month here, a couple hundred for water would be nuts. Our garbage is I something like $20/3 months, and our sewer is like $30/month I think.

A couple of hundred for water?!?!? Holy crap, where do you guys live? We just had a new lawn put in and watered ours twice a day, for 2 hours each time, for 3 months and it was only $128/month.

I'm running a AMD64 and WinXP 64, with the 64 bit Nvidia drivers. UT2004-64 seems faster now, but I don't really see any other difference.
