Same. I read the headline and was like....what? AC2 was shut down forever ago. I tested that game from Alpha to release.

Obama directly cost me my job

Here is another perfect place where actual facts help. The Budget Control act that actually cut Lockheed's funding was a bipartisan effort in congress. Congress couldn't reach a budget agreement and it triggered automatic spending cuts, which is why Lockheed cut 10,000 jobs. You can blame the GOP congressmen that fought to put that automatic trigger in the bill, you can blame the GOP congressmen that failed at their jobs and shut down the government forcing the sequester and spending cuts... but you can't blame Obama. He had very little to do with it.

Wrong. That program was cut due to Obama having Defense Secretary Gates review the program and then deciding it was not worth the money. The other cuts came later. Senator McCain suggested to Obama that it might not be worth it, but in the end Obama made that decision. Which is why it's even funnier that a project even more ridiculously in the red like the X-35 is allowed to continue, especially since Lockheed originally proposed outfitting our existing planes with better electronics instead. (Which is what we were doing to the existing fleet of AH-64 helicopters.)

Trump just said what everyone in any way already familiar with the project knows to be true. We've wasted billions on a jet that is outclassed at every level by fighters we sold to our enemies. Political bullshit is the only reason we are still throwing money at this failed project.

Also, Obama directly cost me my job at Lockheed when he took office, so fuck people who think this is just a Trump thing.

Removing Pubic Hair Linked To A Heightened Risk Of STIs.

Did anyone read this story? It's hilarious!

They've come up with all these euphemisms: "extreme groomers," "high frequency groomers" etc.

Meh, I guess you all are having too much fun talking about Trump and Hitler.

I thought it was one of those idiotic studies that spends research money on essentially nothing. Gee, why are people that groom their pubes MORE likely to contract STIs?

Scientists arenít sure what exactly is causing the higher risk of STIs in people who groom their pubic hair. They also canít say whether it was the STIs or the grooming habits that came first, and the survey didnít ask about safe sex practices.

Maybe those same scientists need to stop doing stupid research and get out more often. Any lay person could probably tell you that the "extreme groomers" are probably getting laid more often and thus have a higher chance of getting an STI.

It's like the study that found if you own a gun you have a higher chance of getting shot with your own gun than if you don't own a gun. I'm sorry, how could you possibly get shot with your own gun if you don't own one?

Some of you guys need to check your privelege lol. If it weren't for Steam, Steam sales and the subsequent ballooning of competing digital delivery websites vying for my gaming dollar I'd still be buying boxed copies at the local EBGames for $80 a pop.

Instead I picked up Shadow Warrior 2 at 40% off which was only released two months back, and Stardew Valley for $10 which came out in like May, and Ori & Blind Forest for $9 when Microsoft wants to charge me $22 all year long.

And frankly I don't miss the flash sales, it sucked realizing the game you wanted to buy was on flash sale from 2pm-5pm on a Tuesday when you were at work or in class and couldn't buy the game, so you missed the deal and now you have to pay $12 when you could have paid $4.

STEAM app on your phone, dude. Never miss a sale again.

Yes, if there's one thing we have learned about PC gamers it's that we LOVE being excluded from certain entries in the series only to have you want us for random entries which we probably won't see the sequels to.

Let's say you have a bad Oreo habit. Like a box a day. With such Oreo consumption, you have negotiated a deal wherein you get a full month's supply for $100. 30 boxes or so for $100. Now a few days before the month is up, you run out of Oreos. You see, you have visitors , and they like Oreos too. You would thing you could just to to 7-Eleven and buy a box for $5. But you can only buy Oreos from your current supplier, as the local municipal government has legally mandated that there are only two OSPs (Oreo Service Providers) allowed to sell Oreos in your city. You have to pick one (which you have) and you can't switch mid-month without paying for the next month you'll never receive. So you get the extra box from your OSP, and pay the overage fee of $25 a box.

Yeah, the internet is exactly like Oreos.

Which would be fine if my insurance didn't go up because of them! Make unhealthy people pay more for insurance and I am all on board.

Why is it important that "fat people" pay more? How do you determine who is fat and who isn't? What happens if someone from your family puts on weight and gets sick, are you going to truly be ok with your comment here? Do you understand that food choices aren't always transparent and well educated? As a society we subsidize processed garbage and fast food. Perhaps we should start tackling root causes rather than embracing thoughtlessness?

The USA heavily subsidies corn, which in turn gets processed into HFCS and regular corn syrup, which are used heavily in the foods that make people fat to begin with. And having the US government tax those foods as a "sin tax?" That's so idiotic that whoever said that should run for president.

I'm still using my Note 7 simply because I think the odds are too great to worry about it. I turn it off at night before going to bed and only charge it to 60%, which still lasts all day. I'll be trading my *potentially* defective Note 7 in for a new Note 7 as soon as my carrier has them available because it is still a fantastic device. Fuck iPhone and Apple's continuous stream of pissing-in-your-face mediocrity. An iPhone is an iPhone is an iPhone. Personally, I think the whole Note 7 thing is being blown WAY too far out of proportion, but the ball is already rolling, so all I can do is stand by and watch.

This exactly. What did they sell, 4 million of them already? How many had issues, 35? That's about a 1 in 114285 chance you will have an issue. When Verizon gets replacements I will swap mine. Until then I have no other phone, and the Note 7 is awesome.
