Forcing suspects to reveal phone passwords is unconstitutional, court says.

Fifth Amendment: "nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself,"

Not sure why this was ever an issue. Pretty clear to me.

Yes it's clear. It will always be an issue. The founders knew what would happen because the pattern was well established already. Those in power will inevitably abuse power to harm The People, while claiming the moral high ground and that the ends justify the means at every step.

They will keep trying to take our inalienable rights away from us. One way or another they will do it. Unless we insist upon our rights, we will lose them. They control the educational institutions and so they know we won't be taught and conditioned to stand up for our rights. They know we are materialistic and care more about our monetary wealth, social status, TV and media and material possessions more than our freedoms.

Awesome. Second vid, 31 seconds in that's the path from the parking area to Lake Frank dam in Rockville. Used to walk around the lake nearly every day now not so often. The 40 second mark is probably Rock Creek but not sure of the exact spot. Now I will go look for it!

The value of this 'personal information' should be mitigated. For example we need to work to minimize using it for identification purposes. I don't think a hacker cares if someone got a tooth filling or his doctor's name, unless that information can be used to steal an identity.

Regulations can have the opposite effect and other unintended consequences (too expensive a hurdle for smaller businesses).

ES/FO from Bethesda wasn't ever about dialog or C&C, but about an immersive RPG open world exploration. From what I've seen so far, there's good reason to be optimistic about FO4. What little dialog I heard, it sounded like their best voice work yet.

The only streamlining I've heard about is the combining of stats & perks. It's all just perks now I think.

edit: as far as their promised 'regular patching' I am laughing then crying hard at Bethesda's track record. Do they actually think they had good patch support for Skyrim? They've completely abandoned all of their previous games, even if there are game breaking compatibility bugs with new releases of Windows.

Rules? Have we lost the notion that The People have inalienable rights? Rules that protect people imply that rights are not inalienable but are granted under their graces.

Previously there were no clearly stated 'rules' while they secretly violated our inalienable rights. So human rights don't matter? Only the rules and regulations count?

Under the new guidelines, agencies will have to delete data collected from phones outside of the one targeted within 30 days

Oh, now they're 'guidelines.' Oh now I feel safe and so free!

He can give them his phone #, then he needs to sing that song, "Mickey don't lose that number. You don't wanna call nobody else!" They could send it off in a lettah.

I get the feeling that the AP is testing the waters with this lawsuit. At first I was going to say "Do the ends justify the means?"" but in this case, from what we're told, this doesn't seem like they committed a serious breach of public trust. It looks as if it was explicitly targeted at one person, but who knows..

Overall Dying Light >> Dead Island, but I do miss being able to craft guns ala Dead Island's Electric/Fire Pistols, etc.

Yes I like Dead Island's crafting system too. Sad to hear that was not expanded in DL, but I will still buy the latter of course.

That's the norm. Give an inch, take a mile. What interest do they have in relinquishing powers? They are behaving as do slave owners.

Its a symptom of deeper issue - the mindset of a socialist society. It's all wrapped up in Utopian good intended sounding rhetoric, "Security and prosperity." Fear is exploited against us during the process too. Carrot and stick lies to lead us.

But the boy didn't have dirt on him, therefore he was a budding PC gamer. Maybe the kite flew like that after he typed a cheat code on his keyboard such as PCMR.

I love how the wind in the grass and trees looked.

Gears of Doom to Tool-esque music.. Dodged a bullet. Is it so hard to actually, you know, look at the original doom maps/graphics and modernize its vision of hell to current levels? I would think not that hard but...

Yes. Well the word Democracy falls short. The term 'Republic' means 'government of the people'. We were founded as such. "To the republic for which it stands", not 'To the Democracy for which it stands.' I agree though, we are now 'of the globalist corporations.' Not all corporations, but the ones that are politically connected and partnered.

Wikipedia on Republic: "The first ten amendments to the Constitution, called the United States Bill of Rights, guaranteed certain natural rights fundamental to republican ideals that justified the Revolution."

Back then, republicans were liberals. It's a deep and very copmlex topic. Nevertheless, we are not a democracy though we do have democratic electoral system.

They said the same thing about horse transportation industry and we used to be about 96% farmers. Somehow we survived. Change is bad only if new opportunities are denied.
