News Comments > Darwin Project Evolves Out of Early Access

It live now, a bit earlier than initially planned the 14th.

Fun game I've played months ago and then again last weekend because of imminent release and I was surprised that the game have changed that much for the release, I didn't see this coming. I've played a couple tonight and I think it's even better. Will have to test again the show Director how it changed.

Marketing will gets you...

I think this is useless, the human eye have some limits. Can't wait for a demo that will show me a difference on a 240Hz screen vs a 360Hz.

I don't know if this is absolute truth but by my own I also think the human eye have its limits.

It's not the right trailer for Survarium... I think?
Let's face it, Survarium will never reach version 1.0

Got closed beta about 3 weeks ago and never managed to link to Steam and others because I'm just unsure of security and all... could giving credentials open the door to something unexpected? I think I'll wait a bit more now that open beta is here.

I think Im going to go with the Rift S. Best support in DCS and probably the best bang for buck right now.
Rift S vs O+ is where most people hesitate. What attract me the to O+ is the adjustable IPD which is fixed on the S, the anti-SDE feature but I'll have to see it because some have reported a bit less crisp images (if it's even noticeable) but I know that I may prefer this over SDE. Also, better black because OLED. Also, 90Hz vs 80Hz.

S have better controller and tracking out of FoV I think.

Is the S also on sale? In CAD, 324$ for the O+ is an all time low.

Insame price because of required bases...

Instead I just bought an Odyssey+ which are on sale starting today for 324$ CAD. That should do it for now for our teenagers... I'll have another look in 2-3 years.

On PC it's true that the menu on the left can be larger than before depending on resolution but it's not an annoyance to me. What's ugly though is the "Compacti" font used for sections like STORIES OF NOTE, POPULAR THREADS, etc. Should be a quick fix to change that bitmap font for a scalable one.
That was chosen as the closest webfont I could find that looked like the image headlines. Does anyone have another font in mind?
Uhh, see post 24.

Allthumbsup works for me.
Does it mean you'll change the font?

I'm back home and now that I see it on 1440p, it's very noticeable that the left colum is too wide (wasted space) which wasn't the case on a lower res display I was using earlier today at lunch time. I wonder how it looks on a 4K display?

That 16.67% is maybe not the best solution but I'm not a pro when it comes to CSS and I'm always asking for help. I quickly find this: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/49850152/css-2-column-grid-one-fixed-width-one-responsive and also https://matthewjamestaylor.com/blog/ultimate-2-column-left-menu-pixels.htm then you should be be able to use 230 as a fixed width for left column while remaining is fluid.

For the STORIES OF NOTE and POPULAT THREADS font they look a bit better now that I'm on 1440p because pixels are smaller but a similar free alternative could be the Anton font https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Anton at 26px instead of 32, see how it looks: https://i.imgur.com/fpVo1y5.png

Nice! But a few things to fix... on my phone I see unused space on the right... https://i.imgur.com/YhWaLEz.png ... is it because of the ad at the bottom?
