Wow comparing oblivion to stalker already? Wasn't stalker in production when Morrowind came out?

I don't really "care" when they release it but I am sure as hell going to play it. Unlike Stalker there is almost no chance of it becoming vaporware.

I hope the new trend doesn't become putting out some crap you made in your spare time that won't entertain anyone for more than 15 minutes.

It's going to end up like hollywood, where they make these horrible movies on low budgets knowing they are still going to make a profit, no matter how horrible the movie is.

No offense to any hardcore rag doll kung fu fans... sure there's one out there, somewhere. And spare me the at least it was original crap because it isn't.

Are they serious? I needed a laugh so I tried to go to their website, and I get Unauthorised access by . . . . Intrustion attempt logged.

Well, I guess I still got my laugh, thanks Roma Victor!

We are gonna see informercials about some guy in his one bedroom apartment coding MMOs in his underwear if this thing is successful. (ahhahahahahahahahaahahahaha)

Well I think they want to keep the price "in reach" even if its only in peoples heads. If they set the price at 700 most people would probably say are they serious??? and just forget about it.

This way they get tons of free press, tons of... people dying to get their hands on one... and if CoD2 is the best game out on it I sure as hell can't see why. They are obviously no dummies, the pricing was strategic, and the shortage obviously predictable.

300-400 is normal for consoles isn't it? I thought I remembered playstation being 300, and I guess PS2 probably was at one point... always much better to wait a year or 2, which is a lot easier if you have a PC to play on in the meantime. On the other hand I'm sure a lot of people here paid 200-500 dollars for their graphics card alone, yeah yeah PC does more I don't care, your graphics card probably doesn't.

I get the feeling the web designer misinterpreted the logo, or they are just morons... take your pick.

Well people do get upset about fantasy games if its an MMO.

Anyway at least it's not another FPS... or maybe it is just in tanks, woops.

I think it's against the law for journalists to say want. Remember, every headline has to sound like a life or death situation now.

The conclusion is stupid, how do they figure there wouldn't be any more annoyed customers when nobody but the rich kids were able to get their hands on one?

I think we all are, since we keep hearing about how great the controller is, then just seeing lame videos of people playing non existant games or ideas that at best sound boring.

Hopefully as things move along we will see some actual applications of the controller, but as long as nintendo releases enough cutesy pet games they will stay in business I guess...

I know this sounds negative against nintendo but I truly hope they manage to be successful with the revolution cause if it's only Sony and MS things will get stale.

Oh wow, those screenshots do look enticing!!!

And yes I realize those games aren't "about graphics" which is exactly my point.

For some reason this article reminded me I was going to try out Opera, I must be the only person in the world who prefers not to have tabbed browsing, but I can't find any way to disable it. Another thing is the bookmark manager doesn't let you edit the first set of bookmarks, which presumably go to their sponsors.

Maybe I want MY actual bookmarks to be the easiest to access, not amazon or ewhatever shitty online store who cut a check.

Yeah, but an apple fansite saying Steve Jobs should of won because of this or that isn't any surprise.

It's politics gone to computers!

Wow you must not be in the same scene thats been releasing 99% (note: statistics pulled out of my ass just like yours) of new games... with "this StarForce program". They've made playing pirated software more annoying, sure, they also made playing legit software more annoying.

I guess the people writing CP software can finally get jobs that people wont hate them for, like telemarketing or ringtone creators.

No copy protection is going to "save" PC gaming, making GOOD GAMES would save PC gaming, wheres the last release that was good and low on bugs that failed because of piracy? where??? with the billions of dollars britney spears lost in sales cause a 12 year old girl downloaded her single, and maybe even the WMDs?

I get irritated by the idea that to create balance between races/classes/whatever you just make them the same but different, so one hits harder but slower or whatever. Then there's no point to play both at all.

To me the point of having different classes and stuff is so when you play the game again it will have different gameplay. I understand they are tired of hearing about imbalance but making things "the same but different" isn't the answer.

Calling superheroes designs intellectual property is almost too hilarious to imagine in court.

Your honor, his belt buckle is gold not black, it's a totally different character!

Trying to prove that COH letting you have the same color scheme as a marvel superhero is cutting into their profits must be fun, glad I'm not a comic book lawyer.

Jeeze this doesn't even fit into my personal schedule, how stupid!

I wouldn't worry about it, only having a few days to play might give you the impression that the game is fun. Only after a few weeks can you see the major flaws, as you run the same dungeon for the 8th time for 1/70th of your next levels exp.

Yeah I remember when counterstrike was stealing all the players from quake2 mods, I never really got into CS, too slow paced and not responsive enough for me. But apparently everyone else on the internet can't get enough.

The problem seems to be with UT though, if you go by every thread that pops up about it, everyone just plays with the bots because they are so good and finding a good game online is hard.

I wasn't offended by postal 2, I just thought it sucked. Hard.

If I remember right everything took like 5 headshots to kill, and unless pissing on people is your thing it wasn't very fun.

How will it "crash" when most of the games are shitty so nobody plays them, then the others just continue on as they have been... same thing is going on as we speak.
