They really thought Doom3 was on to something.

A few weeks back, they were FINISHED with the game (according to a newspost linked on Blue's), and it was sent to the publisher for final testing, now it's still in development... maybe I'm missing something here.

What if you have a game like Fallout and the company has gone under, and now you can't play it anymore? I wouldn't rule out nasty antipiracy protection on downloaded games either, unless you have to connect to the server to start it, then you have the problem of not being able to play offline.

This online solution is far from ideal in my opinion.

I'm not playing WoW right now, but I'm glad to see they are adding more non raid content for upper levels. Raiding is fun when you're in high school on summer break or something, after that spending 6 hours in a dungeon for usually no gain at all isn't really that appealing.

I love leechers who pretend they would have bought the game if it wasn't for this or that. Right... sure you would have. Now EA is gonna cry, awww. They will only make 5 million instead of 5 million and 50 bucks. YOU SHOWED THEM!

There are rumors that Devil May Cry 3 is going to be ported to PC too, isn't that also a capcom game?

Damn and to think I'm missing out on such a gem because I don't subscribe to any of the exclusive download sites.

Want it nooooooooowwww.

If it's at least as good as morrowind without the flying things it'll be better than morrowind.

Wish the video showed more of the game than of the people, I mean an old guy grunting into a microphone is cool and all but...

I wonder if there is even one "booth babe" that hasn't had implants, the fact that they've all obviously had at *least* one plastic surgery and most of them probably aren't even over 25 is the most disturbing part to me.

18 year olds shouldn't be lined up around plastic surgeons offices.

I'm sure they will fix the game in the next month before release.

I didn't want it to suck either.

Is he bribing people into modding their game? haha.

Game looks pretty good so far but RPG's have a tendency to be horribly disappointing lately.

It would be really odd for an MMO to require starforce, since you need an account to play, there would be no point in copying the game.

I hate the mainstream media, they are going to try and make google into the badguys protecting child molesters, instead of reporting on the government trying to eliminate personal privacy online. Instead of getting the story right they are trying to make the most sensational headline, which amazingly enough isnt that the government is requesting this data in the first place!

I also can't believe google is the only company who put up any fight! If I had been using yahoo or msn before this I sure as hell wouldn't anymore. The information they are requesting has no realistic use for the purpose they claim it's going to be used for. They are just pushing forward one step at a time until your search terms will be able to land you on some type of list or other to be investigated or worse.

This country is headed into some serious trouble and not nearly enough people give a damn, all you have to do is say nine eleven or child molester and you can do just about anything you want.

The "misleading" post SAYS Feb 14th. Yes, the yellow text is part of the post.

Anyway, this should give the 20 guys who still play an influx of newbies to kill for a couple weeks before the game stagnates again.

This must be a long way off, cause Sims 2 still has like 8 expansions to be released.

The scope of these games are so limited I don't know how anyone finds them interesting. The only fun to be had is torturing your neighbors and that doesn't last very long. If they ever get to the point where you can control your conversations (and tell what the hell is being said) and make the jobs interactive it might be fun, like the thief job you have to actually go out and steal things or the sports job you have to play the sport. Right now your goal is just to keep your people from pissing on themselves and have sex, maybe I was wrong, maybe the game is realistic!

I can't believe I read that worthless article, every page is how both games are pretty good at everything. And he calls rogues "rouges"! Why do so many people do that?

In the article it's like he's afraid of hurting either games feelings so he just says this is good... but that game is good too!!! Oh, don't cry EQ2, you're getting PVP soon! You wanna go to McDonalds? Hmm? All the improvements he lists are like straight from the patch notes and not how anything worked out in reality, so he seems oblivious to things like the BG in WoW turning out to be a total mess. I know his goal was to make an unbiased review of what the games have added, but unbiased doesn't mean you say everything is great, and ignore the major flaws in the updates to both games.

Oh well, at least the background image has elf boobs.

Bonus content usually makes its way onto the web anyway, but it is pretty lame to charge for actual extra maps instead of some stupid crap nobody cares about like usual.

Getting more and more common though, people who preorder autoassault get some kind of bonus to find loot or something, I think in a couple years they will be giving people who preorder FPS games more accurate and powerful guns or some crap, because apparently publishers have a hardon for preorders.
