That guys pretty dumb, how does PLASMA explain things better than getting stronger or better at things from experiences throughout a game like traditional systems?

The stupid thing is these plasmas will surely have numbers associated with them making it exactly the same system anyway.

If they have made every upgrade to your character visible, and each level of upgrade is distinctive I will give them credit, if not they are just rewording things and patting themselves on the back.

If paid fulltime testers can't find the bugs you can't expect people doing it on the side with no financial support to. I just started playing this again and noticed some problems so hopefully they were fixed.

If I have to pick a side between the cheap, the poor and the lazy or the billion dollar industries that violate families on a daily basis I guess I'd have to side with the pirates.

You can't run a network like that without some sort of funding, and you aren't likely to get any from people who are too poor or cheap to buy the stuff in the first place. The funny thing is that advertisers don't seem to grasp that the people visiting a piracy site aren't exactly interested in purchasing products.

Theres a lot of people making a lot more money off much worse things.

And I don't really buy the idea that piracy is exactly the same as robbing someone. Why don't they press criminal charges against people instead of just threatening them and forcing them to send a check? It's the same thing as stealing from poor Joe in the mail room, who makes 1% of the companies executives bonus pay, right? Oh wait, he makes a shitty salaried or hourly wage no matter how much the company does or doesn't make.

There are certain people who really do have a problem with gaming, I didn't buy it until I saw it for myself. However, the majority of people are not addicted but would probably be classified as such by the anti-gaming crusaders.

To me the only people I would call addicts are the ones that neglect their families and jobs, and there are people who miss work or quit altogether because they want to play a game or don't feed or spend time with their children because they have a raid in WoW. I think most reasonable people can agree those people DO have a problem.

Pretty interesting. Too bad realnetworks "games" don't count for much.

Looks pretty sweet to me. The low quality elements are probably placeholders. I just wonder how the gameplay will turn out.

I tried getting back into this a few months ago. Everything feels so dated, and I don't really mean the graphics, I can easily overlook graphics. Controls felt very awkward to me, the mouselook was painfully slow even at the highest setting and just makes the whole game feel sluggish. I have several maxed level toons from the old days so it's not like I never gave the game a chance.

They are really fond of updating the graphics but they should update the rest of the engine too.

Judging from the screenshots, it's a perfect game for a blurry 3 inch monitor.

But it's a budget game, it's not meant to compete with HL2. It's meant to grab the attention of people who miss top down games and add another released title to everyones resume. If it's really good word of mouth and forum posts will make it a small success.

The Ps3 has a curved top precisely cause they don't want you stacking it.

How do you guys keep seeing heat issues consoles and think "BOY I WISH I COULD SANDWICH THAT THING BETWEEN OTHER HOT ELECTRONICS."

The original version looked really amazing... at least in its tiny little video window.

Cell shading is crap, it never looks right if you are paying any attention. Any small clipping problem is magnified 100x.

But it looks like ANIME and everyone loves ANIME right!?

Running around lush realistic environments or a 3 tone cel shaded polygon? Hard to believe some people actually think the cel shading is better.

How can you say it looks awful?

Surely there must be a more powerful insult for describing this game. 'EQ2' is exactly what I thought when I saw it, like someone loaded up bryce, poser and the coateverythinginwax plugin.

A magical golden aura which lights above your character

I would only pay if it was a non magical golden aura. Magical ones are soooo cliche.

DMOMoMOMM demo was alright I guess, I think having seen the first level in the demos already kind of ruined it... but seriously why is the first level like 3 minutes of gameplay? I hope that isn't normal for the game... 6 enemies and then a boss. Personally I think the environmental deaths are overdone and unsatisfying, I'd rather do a power attack and watch an arm or head fly off in slomo... fortunately you have that option (except on bosses I guess.)

Which is good since it sounds like you'll be playing screenshots.

25 people is still too many. Why can't they have really challenging 1 group dungeons? Large guilds are just drama factories anyway.

But the new races and cross class bs will guarantee I never, ever play this game again.

Yeah they are pirated, but not to the extent that PC games are. Still, I'm really tired of hearing entertainment companies whine about piracy.

"While other services have come productively to the table, LimeWire has sat back and continued to reap profits on the backs of the music community," the trade group said.

Too bad they can't see the irony.

Honestly, with the money that KOTOR made, I don't think Lucasarts put a 'rush' for KOTOR 2

Well, if you think about it, that could very well be what would motivate a company to rush a product... you know, a company that doesn't really give a shit about its fans and routinely puts turds in a box, stamps it with a starwars label and puts it on a shelf.
