It's barely even playable in vr.

At all, some HUD elements send crosseyed, certain things only rendered in one eye.

And that's if you consider limiting to 45 and motion vectoring on.
And you barely have the headroom to run that, in horizons there's plenty headroom of you run 45 which heavily decreases the motion vector artefacting.

The alpha was not playable with a 1080ti in vr, not even close.

And the release is just barely playable.
Problem is, since the last time i tested the alpha i have also upgraded to a 3090.
This thing is BARELY PLAYABLE, on a 3090.

It also really doesn't matter.
The reason to get a soundcard is because you think you need better digital to analog and you are the foaming at the ears type audiophile that seems to believe that any audio signal is 'unpure" or tainted when it's been through an HDMI cable.

Like everybody else I had my eye on a 3080, but those haven't been seen since before Christmas.

I guess my current justification is that games will eventually use more than 10.5GB vram.

And next week they announce selling to Apple, epic or something.

Honestly after finishing it with a non 100% playthrough.

The bugs i encountered albeit "immersion" breaking honestly have the game a hefty dose of a whimsy and comedy it lacked greatly.
