I watched the whole thing and I have no idea what this game is about apart from wizards dodging whales.

Are you controling the whales or the wizards ?

Seriously the video game adds from the 80's did a better presentation of their games than this.

Hobestly, only effect is this is another dev on my ignore list.

Womp womp.

As much as I want to play this game, I'm going to give it at least 6 months after launch to finish cooking. Remember how broken Witcher 3 was at launch? I know that's what they're trying to avoid with this launch, but I'm highly skeptical.

Not only are their games very complex and large, they use a new engine everytime! Take that Bethesda :p

But think of all the heritage you get with a Bethesda game.

Code all the way back from 90's.

Such amazing tradition is hardly ever seen in the industry.

For bloddy good reasons.

Ah, what is the life of a SSD among friends, right?

Well I got an Intel SSD 330 from 2012 that is running just fine, in an old parts machine I have plugged into my tv.

In fact I have yet to have an SSD fail outright on me, compared to old spinny harddrives, they are downright reliable.

As buggy as it could be, I still think Warrior Within had the most fun combat. Two Thrones was close but I found myself trying to clear areas with only the stealth mechanic in that game.
Sands of Time had the best story of the 3 I played.

The first game was great, the combat needed some polishing that came in the second.
The seconds story was a bit lackluster but the gameplay and level design was also great imo.

The third, they never made a third.

That would be awesome.
I loved the first Crysis. All after that I didnt like so much, mainly because of the setting. That tropical island was just perfect. Same reason why I liked FarCry 3 most of all.

Lets hope its not just improved textures.

I wouldn't mind a remaster of Far Cry 1. It was gorgeous in it's day but could use some updating now and would still be a fun game to play. I don't remember giving Crysis 1 much of a chance so I'm not too familiar with it's environments but thought it had more of an urban look. Could be wrong.

Like you, I also preferred Far Cry 3 because it was back to the tropical environment that was fun with Far Cry 1.

I thought crysis the first was a much improved version of Farcry1.

The citiscape crysis was the second, the first was a tropical island like Farcry1 with less game breaking monsters and invulnerable helicopters.
I loved the first FC, but when the monsters showed up I completely lost interest.
It was as if the game switched from a tactical sneaky shooter to just throwing bullet soaking wannabe pinkies at you.

The second crysis got a lot of flak cause it took a title known for its clever enemy AI and sprawling environment into a closed in, straight as rails level design with enemies that was practically blind and deaf.

probably didn't hurt the sales stats for that game when they sold it for a $1.90 couple of days ago

And I have the relevance of data gripe here, having a top ten list is all well and good, but without sales numbers how could anyone make much out of it.

Hardly ever played this genre before. but absolutely love this game. there is no consolidation issues, its pure pc, the slower pace of the game can give that little extra time to come up with the right choice, on the other hand, fleet movement is also a little slow, but thats where good planning and anticipation comes in.

basics was quick to grasp, its not complex in that regard, tactics on the other hand is a different issue, but thats why this game rocks so hard in my opinion.

it includes map editors and what not. ,(a better more advanced one can be dl'ed from the game site) and the game is realy modable, and there is lots of mods around from minor effects tweaks to total star wars\trek makeovers.

oh and no drm
The smaller skirmish maps can be dealt with in an hour or two, but the larger maps can sometimes take days to dominate.
and this game should come with a 'time flies' warning label.

Ever since Steam started charging me in Euro's instead of dollars. I'ts at the time cheaper to go buy the actual gamedisc in store than steam.

in valves mind there doesnt seem to be much difference between 49.99$ and 49.99euro.

except for the 45% cost increase for us european gamers.
the day this happened also was the day I stopped buying steam games.

I've been playing eve steadily for 3 years now, and my first reaction to eve bank was initialy "yea right, go find some other sucker"

Then they did suprise me by not running away with all the money themselves, but some manager\director did run off with a few hundred billion, and they are now saying that they gave out loans nobody will pay back on top aforemention, 'theft'.

My first thought when I saw this as logging in today was " HAH! told you so suckers !"

So the only actors elligeble for the gw movie are ex football players with a massive steroid problem, yea this has classic written all over it.

BTW, in GW you are battling a bunch of aliens or whatnot that cant stand the light, why give the grunts a chainsaw gun when a flashlight would have been better ?

Well since steam came up with the bright idea that they could make more money by changing the currency notation, this would be 30 euro, quick google turns that out as 43 usd, before currency exchange so probably an even 50. Yea I'm pissed at steam, and no I'm not gonna pay 130% for your games. The day valve changed currency in mainland europe was the day I stopped buying their games.
