I've had really good results from GeForce NOW (aka GRID) on the Shield TV. Not sure about Sony's solution.

But if you have to use a PS4 controller and not have the option for KB+M, then I don't see the point. At least for me.

Well, as long as the $60 pack is all there is and there isn't continuing nickle-and-diming then whatever. Of course, it would not surprise me in the least if there was. At least this way, I can test the game to see if it blows or not.

The thing that worries me about QC is the classes/heros. Fuck that. I want every player to be the same like all the old Quakes were. You can customize your character a little, but you did not have special abilities or weapons. Supposedly though, there's a mode that makes it more classic like that which I feel most people will be playing.

Oh AMD....LOL

I have NEVER needed a patch to allow my Intel CPU to work like it's supposed to.

As usual, more excuses and smoke-and-mirrors from team red.

Nuts, doesn't support the NVIDIA Shield TV. I'd buy it if so.

I guess it's back to emulation. lol

I got a stack of free pancakes from IHOP yesterday. Maybe today I'll get me a free international woman?

My copy of Zelda for the Switch came in yesterday. Should I lick it while I wait for the Switch?

No lie, it takes 8 minutes for that 'The Story Of The $10,000 Worth Of Missing Super Nintendo Games Has A Happy Ending' article to load on my connection. God I miss the good ol' text days...

SanDisk is slipping. Back in July, I bought a Patriot USB stick that is 512GB (2x the size of SanDisk's) and has the same speeds for the same price.

Did anyone ask for a Project CARS 2?

Yeah, didn't think so.

Thanks again to these cheesy companies for taking their unreleased features and using them as an excuse to release another game.

Thanks again for no mod support, where we could've made our own tracks.

That's got to be the most stupid "argument" ever. You clearly don't know how game development, or software development in general, works.

Plus, when one product does well, of course they are going to want to follow up with that. It happens in every industry.

Automotive safety was bad 20 years ago and that was before we had defective airbags that shoot shrapnel into your neck, chest and face.

Yeah my car has a recall for that very thing. I've never taken it in to get it fixed though. There's nothing like a piece of shrapnel to start ones day.

11. Re: ZeniMax Wins $500M in Oculus Lawsuit Feb 1, 2017, 23:18 SirKnight

From: http://uploadvr.com/verdict-zenimax-oculus/

Carmack intentionally destroyed data on his computer after he got notice of this litigation and right after he researched on Google how to wipe a hard drive—and data on other Oculus computers and USB storage devices were similarly deleted (as determined by a court-appointed, independent expert in computer forensics); (vii) when he quit id Software, Carmack admitted he secretly downloaded and stole over 10,000 documents from ZeniMax on a USB storage device, as well as the entire source code to RAGE and the id tech® 5 engine —which Carmack uploaded to his Oculus computer;

Damn son. I would have thought Carmack was smarter than this...

VR = dying quicker than the last 3D wave

Nope. It's only "dying" for those who, for some odd reason, want it to fail.

1. Re: Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 Open Beta Signups Jan 17, 2017, 21:09 SirKnight

I'm greatly looking forward to this. I really liked the previous two games but this one looks like it's taking the open-world feel of Far Cry which I also love. In Far Cry 3/4 my fav thing to do was to take a stealthy approach and snipe as much as possible. So this game is perfect for me.
