So, a lot of supposed “fans” are complaining. The game is free to play. The devs deserve to make some money. The complainers are a bunch of entitled spoiled children.

Damn, RIP Big O. I remember when you started playing in the NBA. 54 is younger than I am, and that's way too young for an athlete to die.

It kinda feels weird not going to Anandtech to read a CPU review.

Packard Bell (now-defunct) sold a lot of 486SX computers back in the day to folks who didn't know the difference between SX and DX and would not know what an FPU/math coprocessor was. And that's perfectly fine.

I'm all about a property catering to it's fans, but honestly, do you know how hard it is to cater to Battletech fans? I played the most fan-recommended mod for Battletech (Rogue something or other) and it was SO COMPLICATED that after 50 hours I still didn't know what I was doing.

I was just reading that something like only 2%-6% of the people affected by the floods from Helene have flood insurance. Apparently it was a consensus opinion it wasn't needed in those locations. So, if your house washed away and you don't have flood insurance. Tough luck. The max you can get from FEMA for home damage is just over $42k, and not many people manage to get that much.
