Wait, the English also use dumbass DST?

Yup, but to be confusing, we call our summer time BST (British Summer Time) while in the US you use the 'ST' suffix for Standard Time, right?

I actually have the same issue and it's driving me insane.

I am on 361.41 which was the driver where stuff actually worked for me fine and ever since 362 I've had TONS of issues, with 365 driver regularly crashed and this didn't just crash the driver, but broke html5 video playback on youtube (and other stuff) ... so reverted and don't plan on updating ~.~

Dunno what they did in 362 and onward but it's gotten worse and worse

Thank god it's not just me. I spent the last month thinking my cable was iffy, then last night noticed 'successfully recovered' type errors in my event logs every time I lost output for a few seconds. Was just about to go rummaging online to find out when the last stable stable release was and saw this thread.

In case anyone needed any proof the franchise had hit it's lowest point ever.

I'm wondering what instruments get played?

I had that thought too. "On the crappy fake sampled trumpet it's....."

So bad that I've decided she's actually French

Division is so 'meh'. The highly vaunted PvP system is utterly broken.

Have you played The Division? How exactly is the pvp system broken? It's a risk vs reward system.

Really digging The Division, especially playing some of the lower missions again on hard with a full team.

Couldn't agree more. My only problem with the PvP system at the moment is that very early on you need max DZ Rank to use any purchased gear at all, which makes the DZ vendors all but useless for a very large percentage of players.

I'd be more interested in Battlebjorn, where you pick one of the four members of ABBA in a battle royale.

Yeah, I didn't really care if it was men or women ghostbusters, I just wanted a funny movie. This doesn't really look that good, sadly.

This. Didn't care about gender (though kind of sad someone thinks 'redo with all women' isn't as sexist as 'keep it all men'). I just want funny, and it looks as forced and unfunny as Ride Along 2.

I loved the p&p game! I hope they do a decent conversion of Chaosium's rules, although I hope they go easy on the sanity hits.

The problem I see is that (at least when me and my friends played it) p&p Cthulhu required a certain amount of meta 'oh, okay, I'll look in here even though I know I'll die because my character doesn't know how stupid it is', which doesn't translate well to enjoyable gameplay on a computer/console.

Nice idea, and as a programmer I was initially keen, but rapidly realised I see gameplay going like this:

1) Enjoy the feeling of freedom with the coding, and knock out a few AI scripts
2) Get wasted by someone else
3) Go find the latest 'best' script for various roles and be like everyone else
4) Get wasted by the latest 'beat the current best' scripted units
5) Repeat the bizarre meta game of downloading other peoples scripts to beat specific scripts till you realise how futile this is

Actually, I think most people will stop at 3, if that.

I've never been sure how to pronounce it - is it "cake-o demon?" I'm sure that's not right...just something that stuck with me from the 90s.

Pretty sure it's kak not cake. Like the word 'cacophany'.

Plus I hope to hell we don't get the resurrecting missile bastards. Still remember the sound of those..

I spent a week playing it and it's very satisfying as long as you're ready for the fact that you will die almost randomly at times.

My third captain managed to survive long enough to sail about 50% of the sea and I thought I was safe enough in those waters and then got teleported to the far corner of the map where I faced instadeath. But his daughter got bequeathed his charts and a house and I started again...

As suggested in the press release (and having had a bundled copy of AC3 back in the day) they provide 'download codes and coupons' via the retailer.

Do you think not buying it will encourage them to focus more on the PC? Or is this like GTA5 where you said people should buy the console version to tell Rockstar that they should put more emphasis on the PC market, very much an outside-the-box suggestion.

This. If Squeenix see that it tanked on the XBOne but does fine on the PC then that's a great message we can send. Ie. "You made a good game but XBOne killed your sales". It's not like they'll get little notes every time someone doesn't buy it on PC saying 'Oops, lost another due to that exclusivity thing'.

I'm not expert, but this is the way I look at it.
Night Dive owns the trademark, much like Disney owns Star Wars.
OtherSide secured the exclusive IP rights, to make SS games, much like (gag) EA has with Star Wars.
So they bought (presumably) the rights to make games from Night Dive, and of course exclusivity means nobody else can have the game rights.

That would make sense. Thanks!

Can anyone explain how one entity can own 'exclusive IP rights' but someone else owns the trademark? I'm sure it's possible, but it fries my head.

Stop worrying about English grammer/and-or-typos and you will reach serenity.

GRAMMAR. It's the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse, and helping your uncle jack off a horse.

Jesus, did you even make it to middle-school?

LoL. Yeah, did you? Seriously who cares about a common typo - you folks go off topic on the most random crap as if this is somehow world-ending. The sky is falling, someone's gramm-gramm words ain't what they should be!

If anyone cares, both are correct. "I could care less" is a truncation of "Like I could care less", as in, you couldn't care less. I'll leave this message of harmony to be flamed right here...

Bullshit. Those developers already used Havoc, so you buying it doesn't do jack shit for them. You probably bought Havoc is so that you can deny its implementation to devs for other platforms, and instead try to force people to buy your underpowered shitbox.

This. A thousand times. Just glad there already is an alternative open source version. It'll just mean nobody uses Havok, rather than the above scenario playing out.
