They remind me of Black Mirror.

Very much so, which I guess is no surprise given his style of dystopian/warning type sci-fi.

Amazon continues to churn out original series, with Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams premiering on Friday, January 12.

Except that series has been out here on Channel 4 for weeks. Hardly a made for Amazon exclusive.

Great casts with some hit and some miss episodes.

When did it actually become free? Tried to try it a month ago and it insisted I buy an Early Access pack of a variety of prices.

[edit] Oh, the Battle Royale pvp is free

Yeahhhh... no

Looks on the surface kind of like the reboot games but then comes across as total cheaply made cheese. And while I love Nick Frost in comedies, that immediately said all I needed to know about the tone.

I honestly don't know which gameplay I'd like them to learn that I would find easiest to counter. I suspect I'd prefer to run and gun while they learn and then stealth when they don't, just so I don't end up facing a game full of stealthed enemies. Unfortunately I normally prefer to stealth when given the choice. I guess the whole point of the game is that kind of choice, but it leaves me feeling uncomfortable about trying it.

[edit] Reviews on Steam make it sound a very interesting experience, and the fact it unlearns each reset is a relief

I still can't believe they had us read Animal Farm in middle school! (I'm glad they did, but I wonder if they still do?)

Not sure, but I had to read Animal Farm and Fahrenheit 451 about the same age and I'm also very glad I did. Worthwhile lessons in both and they definitely stuck.

Ugh. Don't even link to The Sun. It's a far-right trashcan of a publication that will happily incite racism/sexism/whatever it feels like to shift units.

Question for those in the know, because I'm too lazy to hunt around online; How does 2 interact with 1 if you own both? I seem to remember it being mentioned that 2 will effectively work like an expansion if you own the first, but that doesn't need the first.

I stopped using Razer after three consecutive models of keyboard and mouse all developed faults in under a year and had to be RMA'd. Stuck it out as I was determined to enjoy them, but never could. The Corsair mouse I bought after has lasted a solid five years without so much as a squeak.

The second new single-player mode is the Challenge Mode. This mode presents the player with crazy and wild match situations, which have to be solved within a single turn with a set of pre-rolled dice. These challenges could be anything from sending a Thrall six-feet-under, pushing an ogre off the pitch, or scoring the most improbable touchdown of your Blood Bowl career.

I had considered making a mini game along these lines once. Seemed a good kind of mini puzzle game. Also a great way to understand the finer points of play and player skills.

Amazon; It must be an election year in Britain
(or are they appointed, birthright, knighted or some other such wizardry?)

We just had a hilarious mess of an election a few months back, so it's not that. And they're appointed by moistened bints lobbing scimitars.
