Get the game on Gamersgate, it's a much better re-seller than D2D.

I noticed the typical no jump complains, meh, that's the point of the game and minds you, even back in the days people were complaining about it until they play and get used to it. You'll get used to the different gameplay, trust me

I don't mind to pay 15$ for this game, it's a classic, it look great and the soundtrack is very well done too.

I saw this game in Target the other day for $17. I thought seriously about getting it for the SP, since there is no way in HELL that I would pay a monthly fee for a game that clearly is not deserving of one.

If you do end up getting it (not saying you will), create the char online. The multiplayer gets love first from what I've seen. And it's the same game whether you're online or off unless you pay. The "locked" stuff was probably the very first thing they released for the Halloween event, which was indeed locked. They opened it up to everyone though due to problems with their billing. Since then I've never seen anything drop that I can't use. And no, I don't pay. I'd love to buy the new content as an expansion though. I refuse to pay month-to-month for it though.

I'd pay $20 for the current game. Don't hate me. :)

Yeah it's better to play online, the free content is the same as the SP but you get online features like Auction House (2.0), Mail and priority on patches (Single Player is getting patched a lot less often like 1 patch every 5 multiplayer patches).

Sorry Blue, I just said crappy because it's a depressing news and because Hellgate need love, not hate but I understand what you're saying. No worries, I read bluesnews every days and your news are never crappy.

About the #31 post, the download is fixed, no more CRC error, it was fixed in a matter of hours.

No but there is a teaser, better than nothing I guess.

Instead of posting this crappy old news, why don't you post the Hellgate Patch 2.0 news? which is on Test Center atm, it would be great to have even more people testing the patch.

This is old news (it date from the first week of May) and shouldn't have been posted here today imho. 2.0 just got released yesterday on Test Center and it's a really good patch that give hope to the community.

You may hate all you want (especially the ones that reply a hate message on every single Hellgate news here, get over it please) but Hellgate is a really fun game and I'll probably play until Diablo 3 at least. I see no other casual action rpg games atm that can beat it so I'll stick to it for another good while, especially now because of 2.0 which feel like a new game to me.

Oh and we know that Hellgate had a very bad start, once again get over it please and if you like A-RPG, give it another try once 2.0 goes on Live servers.

Piracy will probably adapt to console if all the business is here. Just like the Xbox and the PS1/PS2 a couple of years ago (chips).

World of Diablo? no thanks

Diablo need to stay an ARPG with online elements. What I would expect is better online service like Auction House and Mail. A persistent world with instanced dungeons that scale with number of players would be great which mean no job-like raids or stupid time consuming stuff like that.

I've been playing MK1 to 4 on PC and arcade emulators (especially Street Fighter Alpha 3 in coop mode) for years only by using my Keyboard. The only issue I have in fighting games is the 180-360 degrees moves. I'm expecting SF4 to be great on PC.

They seems to fail understanding that if I really like a pc game, I'll buy it and unless there is a demo for each games, piracy will be an option to see if it's worth buying a product or not.

The high level of piracy is only a sign of bad pc games products imho because good pc games sells, just make better games and maybe sells will go up.

It better be an Action-RPG like it always been, casual and solo friendly. The only "MMO" part I would like to see is simply an improved online experience like Auction House, Mail, item linking, being in the world with 1000+ person on it in real time, you know?

I liked the first CoD, was nice, but now they just exploit the name to make profit, lame.

It's all about the Nintendo DS imo, great handheld, nice games and nice non-official programs.

"Yeah, this is an irritating game for left-handed gamers. (I know, all five of em including me) There's really no excuse anymore for not allowing control flexibility. Not everyone is a WASD devotee."

Oh really? I'm a lefter and I've never had any problems in ANY games at all. Use the numpad along with the arrows and you should be fine.
