Out of left field. Chaos Sanc was the only place in the game barbarians couldn't afford to wantonly whirlwind all over the place.
And any melee npc/merc and pretty much any physical melee with strong physical attacks. Of course WW was the worst but still, it doesnt only affect Barbs.
As for people saying they shouldnt put ressource on this game, know that the team behind this is not the D3 team but the War3 team which work on older Blizzard games (SC/War3/D2).
Hey Ray Marden just so you know, in this patch you can get T10 just by doing the heroic daily and the weekly raid quest and T9 by doing heroics over and over soooo yeah, the game is more casual than ever now.
This seems exactly like Torchlight, funny how they implement this 3 weeks after TL was released 
All I want is a patch that balance stuff (cough hammerdin, enigma, elemental absorbs), prevent hacks for as long as possible and buff skills that no one use (cough vengeance paladin).
People shouldnt expect big stuff from the patch, remember it's a 9yo game and the original cast isn't here anymore and the fact that increasing the stash caused problems is a sign that not much can't be done with the game so expect the usual balance patch.
D2 has Multiplayer, TL does not, that alone is enough to make people choose D2 over TL, specially if you've already played TL and beat the game, single player games never last long.

Who cares if the game resemble to WoW, maybe it's more fun? WoW is so boring these days...at least people who played WoW will be familiar pretty quickly I presume.
With what they gonna do with the dev of C&C4, I wouldn't buy or pre-order this game.
I merged 2 days ago and I haven't noticed lag on account management (it's not instant but something like 2sec wait after each click), same goes to wow.com. In-game logging duration seems the same tho "connecting" stay longer but there is no more "authenticating", no problems so far. As far as in-game lag, maybe some servers are pretty bad these days I dunno but the server I play on (Arthas) is fine.
My only concerns with the BN merge so far is the fact that my other Blizzard games are on the same account now and I'm not a fan of using an email as user name.

Somewhat OT, but Direct2Drive STILL hasn't released the patch for Torchlight
From what I heard, it is normal, D2D sucks with patches. If someone plan to buy this game, buy it directly from Runic or on Steam.

This is probably to fix a few lingering bugs from the last patch. The Onyxia patch was pretty bad. Most servers were offline for most of the day. For those few able to connect they had an assortment of oddball glitches. The one I remember vividly was trying to vendor trash and getting no response, then when I finally saw the vendor's inventory I was disconnected.
This happen every patch that has content btw, Patch days are ALWAYS terrible.

I can understand the need of such service but the offer is a scam imo, 130 alone is overpriced and you need to buy a PS3.
You might want to manually install PhysX alone first (download it from nvidia), then install the demo? it could work.

I had to stop using the 64 bit version a couple of months ago because of annoying bugs so I guess they will fix most bugs while it's not available.
I stopped caring about new Square games after FF10. I only care for their ports/re-release/remake because imo Square was better back in the day.

This comes to no surprise to me, most PS3 games ports runs at about 30fps while the 360 versions runs at full speed (60fps). I own both consoles and have compared same games on both consoles for years so I'm not saying random stuff, this kind of thing always happen to the PS3 unless the game is made exclusively for the console or stuff like that.
Thumbs up to Id if they can bring the PS3 port to full speed, that would be great to have a great PS3 port.

So what they are pretty much saying is L4D cost less money and time make and pretty much pay as much as HL.
