It's impressive to me how much they are supporting the multiplayer in this game. Tons of free DLC it seems like. What's a shame though is how the singleplayer suffered for it.
I finally finished the game a week or so ago. The missions were weaker and obviously designed as multiplayer maps. It also felt shorter and more limited in focus. I played ME2 for 48 hours without DLC but I beat ME3 in 27 hours with the From Ahses DLC and with the best ending.
This is going to happen more and more as time goes by and everything goes as online as possible for financial reasons.

3D only looks truly compelling if it encompasses your *full* field of vision.

So pretty much par for the course when it comes to anything attached to Paradox?
Wait until at least 6 months after release and purchase during a sale is basically my rule for anything that they publish.

Didn't the same thing happen when they were ready to release Age of Conan?

The tip of the iceberg. Global class action suits galore to follow not too long from now. I wonder if they still think their always-on DRM and real money bullshit was worth it? Will they in 6 months plus? I know I'd hate to be working for Blizzard these days.

Already uninstalled. Watched the new ending on youtube. Done.
It will be interesting to see if that Casey guy gets another chance to head on a major game release after all of the kerfuffle.
You mean like after the fucking fiasco of Dragon Age 2?? Oh wait...
Mike Laidlaw is in charge of that, not Casey Hudson. And if I have to say one thing in Casey's defense, it's that he lost his main writer to TOR right as they were getting ramped up for ME3, and he got stuck with Mac "I have a napkin's worth of notes for an ending" Walters.

I'm more worried with THQ surviving one more year, period. THQ announced a few days ago it closed its dev houses in Spain and another country and it's now being hit by multiple class action lawsuits related to uDraw.
I don't think THQ can last much longer, not leaking money like this and getting hit with expensive lawsuits to boot.
Which is a shame, as its last ditch hail mary has been to hire a guy as CEO that is genuinely a good, employee-and-consumer first guy. If anyone would foster good studios and innovative games it's him.
But it may be way too late.
A sad case of too little, too late. They've even sold some of their main IP like UFC as well. Selling IP is a huge red flag, it pretty much tells THQ is in dire straits.
Honestly, if THQ survives until the end of this year it will be a miracle. Unless the new CEO pulls a rabbit out of his ass I can't see THQ being saved at this point.

Yes, there may be some civil issues that pop up, but on the surface there's not even a hint of a crime committed by Schilling.

So the auction house allows you to buy items in game? For what purpose? So that you can skip finding those items yourself?
I've never played any of the Diablo titles (or any MMO). But this mechanic sounds strange. Would I play Jagged Alliance and go online and purchase the best weapon right at the start of the game?
Thats how people plays "give me all NOW " there goes the wooow effect when a better item finally drops.....peps are 's
Thats the sideeffect of all that DLC shit peps love so much , "just go buy it"

Nice previews and footage. I'm stoked for this now. It's just a shame it's F2P instead of a full-game with private servers. They monetize ths thing too much and it won't work.
What's sadder is no publisher wanted to pick it up and give us a SP campaign. But I'll take another stab at MPBT, since this pretty much is the spitting image of that game. I think they've already said any paid for stuff would mainly be cosmetic and that they were avoiding any type of P2W type of scheme.
I'm pretty sure you'll still have to unlock different weapons and parts with XP and that they'll sell XP Boosters for real money. That's what every other F2P game does. So while you technically aren't buying these weapons and parts, you're paying for the ability to unlock them much faster than people who don't pay.

Age of Conan was a classic Funcom release, a major clusterfuck for the first 6 months, to end up a solid, good game there after.

Infiltrators have an SMG as primary and a pistol as secondary.
They can unlock a stealth spinfusor, but Im not sure if they get any additional secondary unlocks.
I have seen some people who are amazingly accurate with the SMGs, and sometimes even I shock myself with some luck line ups on hits. But I have suspected some of aimbots when they can dance all over jetpacking up to the ceiling and being blown all over and hitting consistently throughout the fight.
I mean hell half the time when I get blown across the room Im lucky if Im not suddenly shooting the wall instead of in the general direction of the enemy.
If I were going to aimbot using a machinegun, I'd use doombringer...with no reloads and you can do up to 100 damage per bullet. Where as I think the infiltrator does about 75 maximum on it's SMG and like 150 or more with the pistol.
I still haven't figured out how to aim the sniper rifle on the sentinel. Some games I do really well and others Im lucky to hit them once, and Im not sure if that's my lag, their lag, server lag or me just losing my timing. Plus the reticule on that thing often blocks out people you're aiming at due to it's huge crosshairs.

Should give this a look see
A comment in that video let me to this, where the beth skyrim team took one week off after shipping the game to add whatever they wanted to the game. They came up with quite a lot:
