Apparently there's a crippling 1fps bug during online play which has yet to be resolved or even acknowledged that keeps GTR from being a great online racer.

Thats funny I've played GTR online for a while and never had that problem. Stop playing this game on a Geforce2...

Didn't they release 2 or 3 patches for GTR, and a free track expansion. WTF are you talking about not supporting GTR???

GL legends is awesome! All who cry about starforce you weren't gonna buy this game anyways. Arcade racers need not download. Sim racers only...and the real sim racers don't mind some copy protection cuz its a great racing sim.

Personally, I haven't owned a 1.2GHz processor in YEARS.

Really? So you don't have either an Nvidia or ATI card in your system? In fact they run slower then 1.2Ghz! sorry had to be an ass... well if it makes Unreal 3 engine run smoother/faster/or with more partical effects I'm all for the AGEIA PhysX processor. I'll probably wait til a game uses it before I purchase one, maybe the prices will be down to around $150-200ish by middle of next year. F.E.A.R. needs to support this!

Same here, bought the first one and played it for about 4-5hrs before I got bored, though did enjoy the 4-5hrs. I'm more excited about the AGEIA PhysX processor though. I hope motherboards keep at least 2 PCI slots cuz one for this and one for my SB X-Fi. F.E.A.R. could really use to benifit from the AGEIA but I don't think it supports it. I think all it would take would be one big game using it aka Half-Life 3, Far Cry 2, Prey, Quake4 etc. to at least penetrate at least the high end gamer market. I would expect people w/ SLI, FX cpu's, and SB X-fi to be picking these up.

I would like to see 3 things in X3
1) better interface
2) better AI
3) more population

seems like they are working on all 3. I will buy the game to support one of the only devs to still make space sims. Awe miss the days of wing commander, privateer, freespace, etc.

ps we've tested rF w/ 20 people racing online. So far its been pretty stable in the last few versions. Lets just says its a lot better then the .2xx versions. Whats nice is ISI plans on updating the game after 1.000 is released to add more cars/tracks/enhancements after release.

Its shaping up pretty well, when it comes out it should raise the bar pretty far in terms of sim/customization type of racers. I've been working on the alpha/beta for some time now and its almost ready to be released. We are on version .973, 1.000 should be the final release.

maybe not, chrome had its good points and its bad. hopefully they polished up the gameplay in this title and it might be a nice suprise, hey at least they are releasing a demo for it. I think it might be a sleeper of a good game, we'll know next week though.

Chrome wasn't perfect but I did like a few things about it. It seemed like a poor mans Deus Ex at the time. Maybe if they fix a couple things here and there it could turn into something good. I mean no one gets it right on the first try.

The difference in prey will be this time; instead of just monsters popping out of thin air, you'll get a hole in the universe open before the monsters pop out of thin air.
