Yes, it matters where you live (and I've said it before). In Sweden, winter starts at 1 december unless you want to go with the meteorological definition, in case you have to observe the actual weather. Solstice is solstice, but stop telling us when we have winter!

and how is it incorrect? nothing you posted contradicted blue's post. summer/winter solstice have been the traditional starting point for summer/winter for a long time, since antiquity.

Blue's incorrect in that winter starts with Dec 21 in the whole of the Northern Hemisphere. There's no real consensus, but the first winter month is normally December if you ask any Swede, which means start by Dec 1. If we're talking meteorologically, winter is defined by weather conditions that sometimes delays winter until Feb 15 even in Sweden.

They seem clueless as to http://hbonordic.com/ an online subscriptions-based streaming service. Sure, you notice their comparative lack of consumer service compared to Netflix, but they're there and learning.

Seems it's cold-time-of-the-year. I'm going on my fifth day at home in a row, together with my 7-year-old. We've both had fever on an off and have now entered the cough phase... I think I'm better now.

I translated the whole of the supportwiki into Swedish together with 2 other guys. Got a few games, a T-shirt and some other stuff. Not what it would've cost them to get it professionally translated, and probably better judging from the translations I saw of the legal stuff. Guess they had to hire professionals for the legal stuff so they could have someone to sue if things went wrong.

All in all, it was a fun thing to do, but eventually we all lost interest simply because they didn't provide enough incentive. Probably bad management when they switched out the guy who they had hired to keep it all running.

I've set up the server Murmur that goes with the client Mumble and it was relatively easy as I recall it. Low latency and low overhead without the restrictions of Ventrilo. Skype always used too much resources for my liking. Teamspeak never had the quality we needed in the multi-lingual community of HL2DM in Europe.

Stay away from this until (if ever) they fix the multiplayer. Keeps crashing every minute, literally. And that is if you even get the game going...

I don't know what it is, I have been suffering with a touch of laryngitis for about a week now. I keep expecting this to surface as a cold or something like that, but it's just remained a minor rasp in my throat.
I get that every now and then when I sleep less than I need. I'm guessing your is nothing to worry about.

These are the most common spiders in rural Namibia:

Technically, that arachnid is not a true spider but a solifuge. No web, no poison.

I could see myself, and the community, putting up money to get a game like HL2:DM decently bug fixed. But for that to happen you'd actually need Valve to communicate in the first place...
