You speak about Guild Wars as if your opinion was fact. I hardly think that 400,000 people would have logged in during the last WPE to play a boring game. Personally i find fun in both games, they're different but enjoyable. I also think that GW was more complete in many aspects even during its E3 alpha phase than WoW is now --- although GW doesn't classify as a normal MMORPG... anyway, i'll be buying both. I admit i'm looking forward to GW more, but that's because the mission-based style appeals greatly to me. Exploring in WoW i generally find more fun than in GW.Yes, you are completely right. I was sharing my opinion. Isn't that what we are doing here?
Sorry, build Guild Wars seemed too simple for me. WoW is designed to be simple, but still has more depth than GW.
And you can't judge the game by 400,000 who joined a "world event". It's unfair.
Not all of those 400,000 people who tried it actually liked it. Hell, some probably didn't even know what they were trying.
Don't get me wrong, GW was surprisingly stable and ran fairly well but it is just not fun (IMHO(pinion)) (=
