..... oh I just woke up. Is it the same tripe? probably... back to sleep... zzzzz

For the most popular FPS franchise of all time (at least as far as sales are concerned... i think) they certainly seem keen to keep the bar as low as possible.

Still based on a mutilated fork from the Quake 3 engine? probably.

How many billions has this franchise made? Think they could throw a few mil on some engine builders? NAHHHHHHHHHHH

I really don't care about SP campaign. I just want the MP modes to support bots so I can play with a few buddies on LAN.

Thank God. Thought I was the only one who felt this way. I will play this when I am done screwing around in Just Cause 3 but for all intents and purposes, I am pretty much done with it.

This game is fucking confusing. I can't seem to really get into it. It's a weird kind of game that I've never played before. I've had this game on my PC for a couple of years at least, and I go back to it every so often, but it still never really makes sense to me, and I'm not even sure if I like it or not... I can't describe it. :/

My buddies and I played a TON of this at work. We used the PezBot mod and had a great time with it.

It is but after reading some reviews on here and around the web, I decided to skip it. Perhaps it's been polished up a bit since it launched. Thanks for reminding me, I may take a look again at it.

Been looking for something to scratch my L4D itch. Looks like this won't be it.

I didn't play it, but wasn't Vermintide a rip-off of L4D? I've heard some good things about it.

I LOVED the first one. It ticked all my boxes for an open-world survival Zombapocalypse game.

I feel exactly the same way. Some stuff annoyed me but overall I enjoyed it quite a bit. I wish they went more into cities with this one but I will be sure to pick it up.

I tried 7 Days to Die and thought that was just miserable.

I'd rather just play Just Cause 3. It's pretty fun getting dozens of the military guys and a couple helo's chasing you.

I wish I had the money, and the time to check out these releases. I skipped Dishonored 2. It just seemed more of the same. This looks much more interesting TBH, however Real Life gets in the way.

I don't know how you people manage to do it. The older I get, the less time I have to devote to gaming. I still do game, but I find that I'm concentrating my gaming time on just one "game" at a time.

I can't understand for the life of me why these game devs just can't give players what they want...

Wide open battlefields, tons of cool vehicles, and unlocks that are fun. Not unlocks that are needed to play the game (Wildlands sync shot).

Sad that I still play the original SW:Battlefront 2 more than any other SW game out today. Tons of maps, mods, you name it.

I was going to try it til I saw it's mp only. Too bad.

I doubt we will ever see a game dev that can do large scale AI for a large open shooter, much less with needing detailed command structure. I cringe when I say this because DICE did a pretty good job of it with BF2 but I think, as far as I know (few exceptions of course, Angels Fall First) we will probably never see this happen.

The way the dem bill/policy was written certain companies get to sell your info like they already do today but not others. This bill changes nothing except undoing democrats picking winners and loser in the advertising space. The spin on this is mind numbing and everybody is lapping it up. This bill is an effort to maintain free market principles.

Our university is fairly married to Microsoft and Active Directory. With Win 7 and 10, our calls have been limited. Dell hardware is not bad and works well. Hard to beat i7's for under $700.

Most of our calls are not directly OS related but rather third party apps and browsers. Usually some old app on campus still uses Java and we need to come up with workarounds for this. Also, apps from medical companies, custom apps and bad websites account for most of our calls.

If it were up to me, I'd move to thin clients and virtualize the whole desktop and simply publish apps to the desktop as they are needed.

I was really bummed by the open beta. I LOVED GR:Future Soldier and still play it today.

I dunno, I guess being 42 and not have the time I use to, these games that require grinding out just to unlock something that should be in the game from the start are not that appealing to me any longer.

I love the open world concept but I feel GR:FS was a better game.

I may pick this up when it goes on sale. Not a day 1 pick up for me.

Did you like Ghost Recon Future Solider?

I had a great time playing that in SP. AI was good (both team and enemy).

quote="SpectralMeat"Feb 23, 2017, 09:55]My problem with this one is the same problem I have with any other coop games. Unless you have some dedicated friends that are available the time you are available to play coop with you, the game is pretty terrible in single player mode.
I am hearing it is a blast in coop mode though.

Well, I had Origin installed on a laptop of mine so I gave it a go. Did the yearly price.

So far so good I guess.

Playing some Ultima 3: Exodus now. Going to see if the VGA mod will work on it.

What are your main issues? I took a look. The "vault" games look pretty good. Nice mix of old and new.

Or is the issue with Origin as a whole?
