I thought Smoke grenades weren't routinely used by soldiers in WW2 Eastern Front? Am I missing something here? I do remember planes dropping "walls" of smoke during assaults though.

I wish they would port some maps from the mod though, and more urban maps for crying out loud..!

I can think of a lot of games that had Quake-style portals, but the important thing is that you couldn't see what was on the other side, nor in most games I've seen fire projectiles that went thru the portals. Prey was the first game to come up with these instant portals that you could see light going thru.

This new Demolition mode sucks horribly.. people camp more than in the CTF game mode, which doesn't make a lot of sense. Plus you see assaulting MGers run up and camp an enemy demolition point, or spawn camp.

Plus, whomeer thought the bridge map should only have the over-and-under passageways must not have taken map making 101, have at LEAST three ways across the map. EVERY other map has 2 alleways and the main route .. wtf.

General if you read their GameSpot interview yesterday that's exactly what they are going for... they are adding a ton of new features to make it fun for sandbox mode, and this press release barely scratches anything, go to the official site to see the full feature list.

Plus they've been releasing content updates for months for free, why complain?

Wow, his book name is translated to "Tomorrow War" (although probably more proper Tomorrow is War) to English that's why the game is named like that.. and now just cause the graphics are a little bit dated it means the game will suck? Whatever guys.

Is this the patch that makes the friendly AI get a fuckin clue when they are getting shot at? I'm tired of friendlies taking up a bad spot and then get shot in the back cause they don't feel like turning around... or when allies don't run away from tanks cause they think they are supermen.

EDIT: Controlling the allies from outside the command map is pretty stupid, if you could have held down the "Cover" command and dragged it like in the command map so that at the first click selected from which point you wanted them to cover, and at the second click where they should cover, it would have been a LOT more useful.

What's the point in the AI covering from the same damn place I'm at, usually there isn't... I can do a much better job than the AI with any gun, and that's just sad
